    • What Happened!?

The product comes with a video - at Amazon - on assembling the lamp. It also comes with clear instructions on paper. The parts were in good condition upon arrival. However, there was one glitch - on one of the legs the screw "socket" was not in the hole completely(the reason I gave a 3 on assembly). Therefore the parts did not fit together smoothly like the others! After several tries to screw the parts together I had to pull the socket out and put it back in was a hammer. The leg did not break - to my surprise - and the part fit smoothly. I am an armature - although I follow directions closely - on hammering sockets into wood, but this worked! The furniture fits my living room decor and looks great! ... show more

Bought this tripod lamp because it was on sale and had an additional discount. It was just over $50, and I'm blown away by the quality for the price. The legs are very sturdy, and even even though they are segmented, the segments impossible to tell apart from across a room. The floor switch is convenient, and it's very attractive. The lamp shade is larger in diameter than I expected, but I don't know that that is a bad thing. It's very swanky. Highly recommend, especially if you get it on a good deal. ... show more

I was a bit nervous at first b/c the box this lamp comes in is quite small. I thought there is no way this is going to be as nice or big as I thought. Boy, was I wrong. Very creative packaging! Love this lamp. It is sturdy, pretty and very modern, which is what I was looking for!
