I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this lamp, to be honest. I thought, "Well, it's cheap and it looks cool, so maybe it’ll do the job.” But WOW—this lamp is like the unexpected plot twist in a movie I didn’t know I needed. First off, the design is stunning! It has that mid-century modern vibe without the steep price tag that usually comes with such style. The walnut finish is rich and smooth, and the flaxen shade adds a soft, warm glow that immediately elevated the vibe of my living room. I didn’t even realize how much I needed that cozy, ambient lighting until this lamp filled the room. Assembly was easy. It took me 10 minutes max, and I didn't even need to break out the manual (the only kind of manual I like). The cord is long enough to position it anywhere, and the E26 base works perfectly with a variety of bulbs—so, if you're a light-bulb-obsessed person like me, you can experiment with different looks (I've tried warm LED, soft white, and a vintage Edison bulb… all look great!). The best part? It didn’t break the bank! I was expecting to pay a lot more for something with this level of style and function. It's surprisingly sturdy, too—no flimsy plastic parts here. I am very happy with the LEPOWER Wood Tripod Floor Lamp! When I opened the box, I could see it is good quality and very nice design. The wood tripod is strong and looks natural, and the linen shade makes the light soft and comfortable. It makes my room feel warm and cozy. The assembly was very easy! I finished it in about 10 minutes, and I did not need any tools. The instructions were simple, and everything fit together very well. The lamp is not heavy, but it stands strong and does not fall, even if my pets run near it. This lamp is very useful because it works for many things. It is tall, so I can use it for reading, but it also gives good light for relaxing. I put it in my living room, and many people tell me it looks very nice and modern. The price is also very good for such a high-quality and stylish lamp. It looks like an expensive one from a designer store. I also like the smart details, like the foot switch and the non-slip feet. If you are thinking about this lamp, you should buy it! It is a great lamp and makes my home more beautiful and comfortable. I recommend it very much! ... show more

I admit to being skeptical about this lamp when it came in a box about the size of a ream of copy paper. But inside was the most ingenious, nicely engineered, and easy-to-assemble lamp! It was well packaged and the directions were extremely clear and easy. All of the tools and pieces required were included, and they even gave a few extra screws in case one got lost. The lamp goes together with allen wrenches, which were included. I was concerned that the legs would look funny as they come in three pieces, but the cuts were so defined and the pieces fit together so well that you cannot even tell. They even included clips to hold the wire to a leg so it’s not dangling around in mid-air. Nice. I was also worried that the shade was going to look funny since you have to put that together and kind of unroll the shade fabric from its little box. But I was wrong. It looks fine. Nicely done! Literally my only complaint is that for some reason this lamp, which is basically warm brown tones, has a cool grey metal piece that holds the legs together and holds the light bulb. This is a jarring design faux pas, in my opinion. I mean, why could that piece not have been brown, to match the legs? It stands out and draws the eye in a negative way, detracting from the overall attractiveness of this lamp. . I’m probably going to have to paint that in a brown color just to make it go with the rest of the lamp. So that’s why I’ve given it 4 stars. Still, for this price point, I would for sure buy this again and just get my paints out. ... show more
