The media could not be loaded. I like this lamp a lot, this would have been 5 stars except the first one they sent didn’t work. We got it replaced though, and all is well. Both the torchiere and the task light have 9 selectable levels of light as well as about the same number of color temps to choose from. Both can be “aimed” to better suit your needs. The remote has appropriate buttons to easily control all of the levels, and a dedicated night light mode which turns the torchiere on straight to low. It has a magnetic back so you can stick it anywhere convenient, including the lamp itself. Something I haven’t seen anywhere else is a second remote that acts as a wall switch! My initial product had an issue during transportation. The seller was very quick to get my concern resolved. The lamp now works great. I use it to work on my puzzles..because good lighting is so important when working on them.

    • Outstanding lamp!
I am using this lamp in a guest bedroom and it's great. We've only had a small bedside lamp and an overhead light so you have to get up and cross the room to turn off the light if you have to have the overhead light on. This lamp has the big lamp on top and a smaller lamp emerging from the side. I have the big lamp pointed at the ceiling like a torchiere and it really provide a LOT of light when it's at full brightness. I like that it has different colors of light too. The side light is angled to serve as a bedside lamp, and it's perfect for that too. It has a remote control so it's easy to turn on and off from the bed, allowing light like an overhead light provides without having to cross the room to turn it off (I know, I'm lazy). But! That's not all! I didn't realize it before getting it but this one has A WALL SWITCH!! I am in love! It is also bluetooth controlled so it is wireless. It has two large buttons, one for the big light, one for the small one. It comes with 3M double-sided sticky pads to attach the unit to the wall. I have it on the wall just below the regular light switch. When I enter the room I can turn on either or both lights on the lamp, and then when I'm in bed I can turn them off with the remote control. The only downside with this lamp is that the lights themselves - the units holding the wiring and LED bulbs - are plastic and not super sturdy. I think they're sturdy enough for normal use, but if it got knocked over or something the light units might crack. However, the base holding the pole the lights are on is very heavy and sturdy so the lamp wouldn't tip over easily. I think overall it is a good deal for the cost; something more sturdy with all the great features this lamp has would be a lot costlier. ... show more
