I only had it installed for about 1 week now in front and just above my garage doors and use the motion/timer/dim mode. Pro's They are very bright and the light floods a large area. They are almost blinding when pulling into the driveway. Plus its 5000K and not the crazy white 6000K. The dim mode is a nice feature. Mine are wired to a switch and the turn off/on within 2 seconds feature seems to work without issue. Con's, The water-tightness of the light seems well designed but if you do not have box to install this on like I my installation, where the previous light was mounted right to the cedar siding, you will probably not be able to install it without major surgery to the light. I had to dremel out the plastic housing on the back of the light so there was enough room between the back of the light and the wall for my incoming wiring and the wirenuts. There goes my warranty! This let me still use the foam insulation ring. Since my previous light was up for 7 years under the soffit and showed no signs of water damage I wasn't too concerned this one will have issues. I needed a light and wasn't going to return it so I I hacked it up. As one reviewer experienced. The joints for the lamps and the sensor work but are not tight. Tightening the joint screw had no affect as I could not tighten it more. They stay in position for the time being but we'll see. Neither bad or good. The sensitivity seems to be good. I set the sensor almost level and it activates the light when walking about 5 feet out from under the light and seems to extend at least 50ft down my slanted driveway. The Dim feature is nice but would be better if it was changeable and could be a little dimmer, almost by half. The dim feature is why I really bought this light. ... show more

This light is very bright and the motion sensor has good range. While the ball and socket design of the lamp sections articulate more nicely than other more common swivel designs, they don't allow the lamps to angle down more than about 45 degrees. This may be fine for most applications, but I needed something that pointed almost straight down to prevent blinding my neighbors. I had to buy something else, but fortunately I was still able to use this in another part of the yard. One thing to note is that one side of the lamp ball socket angles more than the other, so if you find that you can't get the angle that you want, try spinning the lamp 180 degrees to see if it will angle further. ... show more

Updated 9/21/22: LEPOWER contacted me via Amazon after seeing my review. They suggested a few things to check, none of which solved the issues. They have decided to send me a replacement unit which is on the way. I will update this review if the replacement unit also has the same problems. I appreciate their effort to resolve the problem. Responsive customer support goes a long way as there is no way for a company to completely avoid defective units, especially at these price points. The dusk to dawn feature is inconsistent. The light stays on even on bright summer days. works correctly some of the time. Adjusted the settings and cleaned the sensor carefully, but it has been unreliable. The dim mode feature fails a majority of the time. The light comes on in dim mode but once motion is detected, stays at the brightest setting until the next mode change kicks in (e.g. a dawn event). I bought the light for these two features. Unfortunately, I installed it a few weeks after buying it, so out of the return window. The positives are easy installation and the brightness of the bulbs.     • Great light, but definitely not made for an overhang...

Needed to replace two motion lights. Unfortunately, my house is a ranch style with an overhang around the entire house. These light would work great for a wall mount (as intended). Seems like most outdoor motion lights are designed for wall mount only. I saw one person on here have a photo of this light mounted on an overhang, which is why I purchased them. I was a little disappointed in that the middle light does not angle enough to shine out as far as I wanted, due to the connector not allowing it to be angled any more than around 45 degrees. It needs an angle of closer to 80-90 degrees. Only because my overhangs are only about 10' from the ground. If the overhang was higher, it would be perfect. BUT... The light is super bright and makes up for the light not being able to angle as much as I needed it. I would definitely recommend and would buy again. ... show more

Light brightens up the entire backyard with any motion activation. With the dim feature, it still lights up our deck when not active compared to others that go completely dark and only come on with motion. Was extremely easy to install. Hoping it last several years.
