Purchased this to upgrade to the enclosed LED design, replacing an existing motion light which was burning through really inefficient halogen bulbs. This light fixture arrived with all the needed mounting parts to mount onto our pre-existing electrical box. Removal of the old fixture took minutes and required minimal tools. A quick bead of waterproof caulk around the fixture is really the only additional item I’d use to do the install. Installation of this new fixture was just as easy and quick. Adjustment of the motion sensor and timer is straightforward and easy also. I like the brightness and the adjustable heads of the lights. The three separate heads makes it really easy to direct light where we need it. The fixture is a lightweight but solid feeling plastic and feels like it should last for years to come. LEPOWER LED Security Light floods brilliant light in three directions as expected. Compared to replaced older, two incandescent flood-light motion detector light, no comparison in terms of increased coverage area and power of illumination. Fortunately, I do not have neighbors directly across from lighted area or I might be apologizing. Dusk to dawn function is as expected, and small dial to control light duration seems accurate. I set the detection range about 20 ft to light up any traffic in my side yard and it triggers reliably. Interestingly, set up under eaves with slight down angle to motion detector, it picks me up walking into range, but doesn't register two large dogs, which I appreciate. Previous motion sensor lights seem to have a lifespan, and this is the third light I replaced in the same, relatively protected position. It fits well, and seems weather tight. I read a few negative reviews mentioning the (length of) the center screw which holds the entire assembly to the junction box/wall. Everything included in the box was perfectly adequate to easily install, almost no instruction necessary. There were included several machine screws, some of which I just didn't use, making me wonder if negative reviewers chose the wrong screw, lost, or never received the correct one-which was more than long enough. ... show more

In my case I was wiring/installing a new electrical box specifically for this light. But most will be just replacing an old fixture with this new one. That's easy and very straightforward. I love that the led panels are adjustable. I've got a very wide swath of bright white light just where I want it. I have no neighbors behind me, so the bright light is ok, but you'd want to place them so as not to blow out your neighbor's residence. They might think the Mothership is hovering right over their house! So, I began my review with 5 stars. But, the one I purchased went belly up after six months. So...take away a star. Then I contacted the seller and they jumped on it right away, with great communication, and are one-day shipping a new replacement! Add back that star, the seller and the product are both at 5 stars and two thumbs up! ... show more

Very bright and good value.. I mounted horizontally under an eave, but in the horizontal position facing down lights and sensor have limited movement. Appears to have been designed for a vertical on wall location. Usable with the light and sensor positions so I gave it a 4 star.

This light is unbelievable. When I first turned it on it was like being at a night baseball game. It really is that bright. If you have neighbors close by, it may be too bright. The electrician was so impressed he is going to start recommending this light to all of his customers. I don't write reviews very often but this needs 5 star rating. I researched a lot of lights on Amazon and none seemed to be impressive reading the reviews. I thought maybe this would help someone make the right decision. I would buy another one of these lights, it is very VERY bright. I have a larger backyard and installed this light at one end, and it lights up across the yard. I wouldn't recommend installing this if it will be shining into your neighbors house frequently because it is so bright. The motion detection works as advertised, as soon as I walk out my slider which is around 20 yards from the light it comes right on, I like that I can adjust how long it stays on for. It also doesn't seem to come on for every little critter that comes into my yard which I like. The motion sensor is adjustable which I like also. The light itself is very adjustable and each light can point in a different direction. I liked this product so much I also bought the battery powered version for another area of my house I don't have hardwired power to. Highly recommend! ... show more

This was a replacement for a previous LED sensor light. Super easy to install (as long as you have a round outlet box). Easy to set up and easy to adjust. Our parking area in front of the garage looks just like the picture in the product description. Love the adjustability of timing, too.

Nothing really to complain about here. A 4 inch hole works great with an 18 cubic inch junction box, and then this mounts right to it with one screw in the middle of the supplied bracket. Motion sensor seems to work well and the light is plenty bright. Can't complain about the price of these things these days... Sure you can't really replace the bulbs, but maybe some day you just replace the whole thing. It's easy and cheap, so whatever. Word of advice if it's coming on during the day for you: it will do this if the timing knob is dialed all the way back, because here it is in test mode. You need to set it to 30 seconds or so. ... show more
