I like the stand and it holds my dslr camera securely despite how heavy it is. My only complaint is that the light ring does not stay where you position it. It sinks down and will mess up your shot so I've had to tie it up to the metal stand to give it some extra support but the ring does still tip and sink at the end unfortunately. The actual light is nice as well. Many settings and it provides adequate lighting while I'm working I just wish the light ring's support bracket was stronger to handle the light's weight.

I should have listened to other reviewers. This is not going to be able to hold my Nikon camera for very many shoots. It's barely holding it up now, but threateningly wobbly. I'm not willing to chance my camera falling and breaking, so I'm only going to be able to use it for shorter videos where I don't mind using my phone.

I recently purchased the LenTok Overhead DSLR Camera Mount with Ring Light, and my experience with it was a bit mixed. On the positive side, it worked remarkably well with my iPhone for live-streaming items on my desk. However, when I tried to use it with my DSLR camera, I faced some significant issues. The mount did not provide the stability and support that my DSLR needed. It wasn't able to securely hold the camera in place, making it unsuitable. This was quite disappointing, as it was one of the primary reasons for my purchase. Additionally, I encountered difficulties with adjusting the ring light's position. It seemed to have a problem staying in place after I set it up, which made it challenging to achieve the desired lighting. This lack of stability was frustrating. Another issue I faced was with the tripod part of the stand. When I tried to lower it closer to my desk for specific shots, it would slowly start moving back up on its own even when it was locked tight. This lack of stability in the tripod made it difficult to achieve the precise angles and heights needed for my stream. In summary, the LenTok Overhead DSLR Camera Mount with Ring Light worked with my iPhone but fell short when used with a DSLR camera due to stability issues and difficulties in adjusting the lighting. The tripod's instability further added to my overall dissatisfaction with the product. If you primarily use an iPhone for your photography and video needs, this product might work for you. However, if you intend to use it with a DSLR, you may want to consider alternative options.

Had high hopes for this product. The springs are too small the arm only wants to stay in 180 degree position (up & down). Wanted this for overhead videos and it's useless. The only saving grace is the ring light that is perfect for Zoom calls. So I'm thinking to throw everything away except for the ring light. Surprisely similiar ring lights cross the same. I even bought a better ball head for the stand but the screws won't tighten so it just swivels around. Bad product.

I have to add it on a 2nd table so that when I work on my table, it doesn't shake. I use canon eos m50 with a 50mm lens and it hold fine. The light is also helpful, has 3 different color modes. It is good for someone who wants to try recording themselves doing things on a table, beginner level.

For the $ I was afraid it’d be cheap or flimsy - especially since I use a pretty heavy Canon Mark III EOS but it’s solid! I photograph items for a store, typically in cellophane so glare was always an issue. I bought the overhead stand with LED ring light and it’s perfect. Clips on to a table with a threaded clamp and all hinges can be tightened so it doesn’t move or collapse - even with a full camera on it. It works great!
