My last Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon lasted me 12 years with no issues. I loved the computer but the machine didnt handle the windows 11 update forcing me to purchase a new computer. I did some research and decided on this particular model. After receiving the computer, I am impressed. This was a great choice and I know I won't be disappointed. The price is worth it. My package did arrive early and the tracking app didn't tell me. I was lucky my husband was home to receive the package. The computer is very light. The screen is crisp and vibrant. There is only one USB-A port. I have an extendable USB-A hub that works great with the computer and allowed me to plug in a wireless mouse, keyboard, laptop cooling fan and printer. ... show more

While this is not the least expensive laptop in this class, I have so far been very pleased with it. The ThinkPad has solid construction, boots up lightning fast, is very light for traveling, and with a dock (sold separately) is every bit as capable as a full size machine. Even without a dock, it has a good selection of external ports. The screen is large enough and crystal clear for professional use without a dock. There is a particular specialized piece of software that I use that is not compatible with Snapdragon processors, so the Intel processor was important to me. The built in keyboard is comfortable for extended use and not too clicky. All in all, this is a fine machine that I expect to use for years. ... show more

I am very sad to write this review but I am so disappointed in this laptop. I loved everything about it when I first got it at the end of September. It is so cute and lightweight and was perfect in every way. But within two months, the wireless networking card went out and I had to have it repaired through Lenovo. It took several weeks, but eventually a guy came to my house and fixed it. And now less than two months later, the laptop won't turn on. I am in the process now of trying to ship it off for repair for a second time, which is difficult when you can't connect to the lenovo help center with the laptop in question. I hope I just got a lemon and they will replace it. I'll update this review if that is the case. But until then, I am sorry to say that I would not ever purchase a Lenovo again. ... show more
