This was a a gift for my granddaughter’s birthday. We immediately opened the box and made little fun items throughout the day. The clay is very pliable and comes in so many colors. There are easy bake directions on the box and many other little surprises inside. Winner!

I made some cute figures sure; but the baking times were wrong, it stunk when I did bake it, and the colors really don't blend well. If you're ADHD and looking at this for your newest throw-away hobby, this is a good cheap kit to get it out of your system. If you want to seriously get practice with it, this isn't the kit for you. ... show more

When I opened the cardboard box and saw how small this polymer clay kit was, I couldn't stop laughing. The photo makes the kit look 4 sizes larger. I admit, I didn't look past the first photo which didn't have anything for scale. So, my bad on that. I gave it four stars, because: It was on sale at a great price, I bought the kit for small polymer clay projects, and the kit provides me with everything I need. I wrote this review to give everyone a head's up. Look past the first photo. I posted a photo with my 8 oz. Troll coffee mug, so you can compare it to the kit's actual size. And, I posted a photo of the polymer clay compared to a coffee K-cup. I went back to look at the listing and all of the photos. And, in all fairness, they did give the dimensions for the size of the polymer clay pieces. Albeit, not the kit size. ... show more

This is an excellent starter set to decide whether or not you enjoy working with polymer clay. Our 6 year old enjoyed it immensely (and yes, we DO like playing with polymer clay!)

    • First Timer Making Worry Stones
My colleague and I decided to make worry stones for our school staff. We attempted using a toaster oven initially; however, the stones did not completely harden. We altered cooking temperatures and time. The stones became harder but we never reached a complete hardness. I took them home and re-baked them in a conventional oven and made a completely new set with the same results. I am unsure if it was the clay but I am disappointed in the final product.
