The price of 6 packs of toffee peanuts seems reasonable. Its not like a bag of chips where it’s half filled. I would choose this over eating chips for healthy purpose such as fiber and protein. It is very addicting, not sticky, and enough for one person to snack on for a day. It doesn’t taste stale. I have read in some reviews that there are hard piece which I encounter at the bottom of the bag as I finish it but the hard piece is from the sugar coating or glaze covering the peanuts. ... show more

So, we buy this sweet and savory mix from Ald-s and I like the stuff but the Mrs. picks out all candied peanuts and it drove me to buy a couple bags of this stuff so she would leave "my snack" alone. She tried a couple and said they were missing something and dumped the bag into the container of mix that she already picked through. After shaking it up some she said that now they tasted good. The second bag was going to be saved for when we opened a new can of mix but I noticed that it was opened and half eaten in the next couple days. Just today she was back to picking the candied peanuts out of the mix and must have caught me glaring at her because she said to me not to buy them candied peanuts from Amazon again. I asked why and she said that half the nuts had the coating fall off of them. I told her that I'll review them and let everyone know that she still ate them all but would have preferred that the coating stayed on the peanuts. SO, if your OCD about that sort of thing stay away from this type of food. If you just reach in a bag or pour some out in your hand and toss the stuff in your mouth and chew you'll be fine.
