  • Good value. No problems.
Pleased with purchase but just wish transfer of data was easier. Product arrived as scheduled and there have been no problems so far with the equipment. Everything was as described. I was replacing an "on its last legs" older computer with Windows 10. It could not handle loading Windows11 so made this purchase necessary. I would recommend this computer to others although I am nowhere near an expert. But it does what I need for someone on a budget. ... show more

  • So far so good
Size: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: 24" Non-Touch | AMD Ryzen 5
Item arrived on time and -- after one day -- appears to be working as expected. Although I've set up other computers and didn't have any trouble getting it up and running, I would have appreciated some sort of written guide or instructions, but there wasn't even an illustration showing where the on/off button was! ... show more

  • Computer Buyers Beware
I’m submitting this information to my review of the Lenovo computer I purchased on Amazon to show why I believe the Lenovo company made deceptive claims on their Amazon advertisement. Specific details about my negative experience have already been given, but I wanted to show here how these circumstances contain many elements of legally defined deception. I asked Google AI for a definition of Deceptive Practices and these are some of the most pertinent statements that apply to my case. My basic claim is that Lenovo advertised that they would be sending me a computer with Windows 11 Pro already installed. The truth is, as admitted by a Lenovo technician, that they sent the computer out with no operating system “at the buyers request.” The buyer is identified by Lenovo as D & H Distributing Company. Since I had an extended warranty from Lenovo, when I started having “glitches” in my computer where the screen would “freeze,” I contacted them, and they started the repair process. However, when the technician was trying to “re-image” the computer on 11/20/25 a message appeared that told the technician a repair was not possible because the computer wasn’t sent out with any operating system at all instead of Windows 11 Pro as promised in the Amazon advertisement. The technician told me that Lenovo had done all they could and I was going to be stuck with a malfunctioning operating system. Below are some aspects of Deceptive Practices that I think fit my case: Omission of facts: A practice can be deceptive if it leaves out important information that a reasonable consumer would need to make an informed decision, such as a salesperson not disclosing poor phone coverage in a customer's area. My comment: I would never have purchased this computer if I knew it didn’t have Windows 11 Pro installed, but instead had something else that would likely cause problems. Deceptive claims: This can include making false statements about a product's origin, quality, or ingredients, or making unsubstantiated claims about its health or environmental impact. Online/Social media: This can include social engineering, misrepresenting one's identity or affiliation, or making false claims about products and services. What constitutes deception: A practice is often considered deceptive if it is likely to mislead a "reasonable consumer" acting reasonably under the circumstances. Intent: While intent can be a factor, an act can be deceptive even if the deception is not intentional but results from careless disregard or has the potential to mislead. A deceptive practice is a misleading act or omission in business or commerce that is likely to mislead a consumer acting reasonably under the circumstances, and which is material to their decision-making process. Regulated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) under Section 5 of the FTC Act and by state-level consumer protection laws, these practices are illegal because they cause or are likely to cause harm to consumers or competitors. Key Elements of a Deceptive Practice Claim To establish that a practice is deceptive, authorities like the FTC and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) generally require proof of three elements: A misleading representation, omission, or practice: This can be an express or implied claim, promise, or failure to disclose material information. Action from a "reasonable consumer" perspective: The consumer's interpretation of the act or practice must be reasonable under the circumstances. This standard is based on the target audience of the practice. Materiality: The information that was omitted or misrepresented must be important enough to a consumer that it would affect their choice of, or conduct regarding, a product or service. ... show more

  • Nice Computer as Described
I received computer a day late (not a big deal). Computer works fine, but keyboard was defective and unusable, so I am using my old keyboard with it. I would have left 5 stars, except for the crappy keyboard.

  • Good computer
We needed a reasonably priced computer to replace our outdated machine. So far we have liked the ease of installation and performance. We did have to purchase an auxiliary USB hub for connecting extra printers and restoring backup files.
