  • Great Handheld Console
Size: 64G Jet
This is a really fun retro gaming device. I like the horizontal design because it feels more comfortable to hold during longer gaming sessions. The controls are responsive, the screen looks good, and the games run smoothly. It feels more like a real game controller with a built-in display.

  • Great handheld system for a very fair price
I've seen systems like this for the last few years and honestly thought they were probably too good to be true for the price that you pay. I was so wrong. The build quality is quite good. The controls themselves feel excellent for the size of the device. The screen is bright and crisp with vibrant accurate colors. The battery life is sufficient, I can't give you runtimes because they can vary quite a bit depending on the system you're emulating, screen brightness, and wifi/bluetooth use. The included Anbernic firmware works well enough, but if you really want to see what this device has to offer, I would recommend checking out the 3rd party firmware Knulli. One thing that isn't highlighted enough on the product page is the ability to plug this in to a tv (have to buy a cable) and bluetooth a few controllers to it to play multiplayer on a normal screen. My order came in a little over a week ago and I've probably already clocked over 20 hours of game time. I honestly wasn't expecting to love this device so much and had intended to mostly use it on road trips and in waiting rooms. If you're looking for a great handheld retro gaming experience that won't break the bank, then look no further. I have to warn you though...now that I've purchased this one I've found myself scoping out other Anbernic devices. I'm debating on purchasing one of the vertical GameBoy style models to go with it. ... show more

  • Must have got a botched model …. Get direct from Anbernic website if you can
Size: 64G Purple
Would share a video but already packaged it for return … I honestly just think I got a botched model as the thing wouldn’t connect to wifi couldn’t even refresh to see new available WiFi’s and therefore if it needs an update xyz you can’t do it , also most games I tried to play from GBA-PSP either were so blurry you couldn’t do much and shortly after just shut down and said “game over” after 2 hours of it charging trying different games it no longer would even boot up to the menu… a not as important part but possibly a key factor of the storage of this device…this came with a wet and a dry wipe but the wet wipe was dusty and actually more dry than the dry wipe the screen protector was easy to place on and felt of extremely good quality and the form factor was amazing loved its feel and it didn’t have any external damage only reason it got 2 stars ... show more

  • Great gift !
Wanted to gift my niece with a cool gift and I was blown away with how well this is made. I would have thought cheap plastic but this thing feels so premium. The size and the package is what threw me off as it very comfortable, each button has good feedback, the screen is big and bright and the overall size is good for a 8 year old. She has been playing non stop since she got it. The joysticks feel so nice and smooth. love that it can connect to the big screen so she doesnt have to seat down so close it. Its very thin and compact well worth to bring it on a plane ... show more

  • This is great for retro vibes
Size: 64G Purple
This device won't play the latest hits, but if you're in the mood to relive the 80' and 99's, this is totally going to do it for you. The battery lasts quite a while, maybe 4 hours. The screen is decently sized for any game you decide to play. It comes with a lot of games, but an older UI that's still navigable, making it easy to use. It's pocketable and easy to carry around. It feels good in the hands and is easy to play, regardless of hand size. ... show more

  • Great for most things & fairly intuitive
Size: 64G White
I’m upgrading from the rg350p, I believe, so it’s more compatible with other systems but it's really slow to load games, start up, and it even takes a bit to QUIT games which isn't great for trying different roms (usually you have to try a few before you find a good one). So it pays to know what you want to play, or you'll be slightly annoyed at how long everything takes. I’m not too interested in diagnosing software/hardware problems, just for background. I think the key to enjoying these things is 1) willingness/ability to do minor computer stuff and also learn more about the device to get the games to work better, they don’t all work well, and 2) not counting on one game, it helps to have a wide range of interests, as not every rom is going to work and a lot require some fiddling. The screen is bright, but seems a little small. Also I don't know why the options need to be so difficult, it defaults to some cryptic turbo setting that requires a tutorial, with no apparent simple way to turn the turbo OFF. This annoyance wasn't in the older version I had either. So in ways they're going forward while going backward, but if you like solving problems, this is a great device for you. ... show more

  • Super portable retro game device
Size: 64G Purple
The first one arrived with an intermittent down D-pad issue. The replacement from Amazon arrived after a day and works great so far. The stock operating system isn't as customizable as some of the community made alternatives, but works out of the box just fine, especially for beginners. The hardware with the H700 CPU supports up to PS1 just fine and might struggle with systems that came. You might want to look at other devices that have beefier CPUs for newer systems after PS1. The small size of the device makes it very portable and with the extreme portability is screen size. The device does not support newer USB C chargers, you need to use an older 5V 1.5A charger or use the included USB-A to C cable. Charging is not quick, you need to check with chargers work with it, but the battery is more than enough for a few hours. There are tons of reviews and guides on this series of Anbernic 35xx devices, some very in depth. You can decide if it is the right device for what you want in a now very crowded field. ... show more

  • Nostalgia and quality in one
Size: 64G White
This is an incredible device with a lot of attention to detail. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. It's sturdy and well-assembled. The buttons, analog sticks, and D-pad feel great. This is a quality design. On the topic of quality, I was surprised to find that the included SD card is a brand-name Kioxia (formerly Toshiba), which means you can have some confidence that it will last. There are two MicroSD card slots on the bottom, which is fantastic. This enables you to expand the storage with a second MicroSD card, without removing or modifying the one it comes with. There are also two USB-C ports on the top of the console. One is for charging, and the other is for data transfer. To charge the device, you need to use the correct port. I recommend fully charging this (or any handheld device) before use. On the right side of the console, there are two buttons. The top one is the power button, and the bottom is a reset button. Both function just as expected. Included with the console is a screen protector and a USB-C (USB-A to C) charger. The screen protector is a nice bonus! I've had an absolute blast using this, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking to get into handheld retro gaming. ... show more
