lenovo will give you the run around to get your device fixed. i had it for 8 months and the graphics card motherboard a fan and the wifi adapter go out on it.

I was trying to help out a friend to find out a good computer at a good price for text to image ai generator and I recommended this one here and he paid me for it and I ordered it for him and ran a few tests for him because he's new and I did a complete render for one hour straight and the GPU temperature stayed under 80 degrees which is good and it renders very fast rendering each image in 3 seconds at default setting, at normal usage it ran about 65 degrees, here the specs that I ordered for him and I would not go any less than these specs this is pretty much top of the line and everything is a perfect match, Lenovo IdeaCentre 5 Gaming Desktop, 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700 Processor, GeForce RTX 3060, 64GB RAM, 2TB PCIe SSD, RJ45, HDMI, DP, Wired KB & Mouse, Wi-Fi 6. this has a GeForce RTX 3060 which has 12GB of vram don't get that mixed up TI version it has only 8 GB of vram GeForce RTX 3060 ti < 8GB of vram. my friend agreed this is just what he wanted, if i ever get one for my self it will be this one, i been sick for over a year not sure if i can get one but thank YOU! I just checked the Lenovo app on my wife's new Lenovo desktop and I find that it says the warranty has expired! Note that the screen also tries to sell an extended warranty. This feels like I bought from a shady dealer. I advise staying away for this purchase unless the manufacturer corrects this situation. The computer otherwise works fine but I think we're getting screwed if something goes bad. I hate to just box it up and send it back. <edit> I contacted the seller and they said the computers have been modified (RAM, Graphics...) and as such lose the Lenovo warranty. The seller said: "We can provide 1 year warranty support for customer. If customer have any issue, feel free to contact us" and also "We will cover the part&labor cost if item is defective.". If you can live with that near verbal promise the computer has been working fine after I upgraded it with Windows 11 Pro. The supplied Home 11 version had a problem activating which I solved by going to Pro. ... show more
