The original filter from my Dyson vacuum met an unfortunate fate – it was snatched by the neighbor's dog! I had taken it out for cleaning and left it on the front porch table to dry. Regrettably, the neighbor's dog got to it just before I could retrieve it, prompting me to seek a replacement. Since the Dyson-branded ones were too pricey, I stumbled upon these off-brand alternatives and decided to give them a shot; especially since they offered three replacements at a budget-friendly price. The quality of these off-brand filters pleasantly surprised me. They fit perfectly and exhibit a robust build similar to Dyson's. However, I did notice that the part of the filter with the faucet marking felt a bit stiff and thinner than Dyson. In terms of performance, they seem to be doing a commendable job, delivering excellent suction when using the vacuum. One noticeable difference is that these off-brand filters tend to accumulate dirt faster than the original Dyson ones. I find myself needing to clean them sooner than I would with the Dyson brand. The upside is that they are significantly easier and quicker to clean, probably because the dirt appears to be primarily on the surface, allowing for swift rinsing. In contrast, the original Dyson filter often requires more thorough cleaning, as it seems to trap dirt within its material. Despite the need for more frequent cleaning and replacements, having three spare filters is a definite advantage. It means I don't have to wait for one to dry before using the vacuum again, ensuring continuous cleaning convenience.

My current Dyson was getting clogged easily even after cleaning so I figured it was time to replace the filter. I purchased these as they had good reviews and fit the type of vacuum I have. Pleasantly surprised at how well they work! Will continue to purchase when I need replacements.

I'm not really sure why some buyers are reporting these do not fit a Dyson V11. If I had to guess.. some folks are trying to put it in a V11 Outsize, which uses a different Dyson part number completely. Anyway, I unpacked these today (a 3 pack) and I tested each one with my Dyson V11 and they worked perfectly with no issues at all. So as some other reviewers have noted.. if you need more filters for your Dyson V11... these are a great after market choice and much less expensive than the Dyson OEM filters (which are over priced at Dyson.com and grossly over priced by some 3rd party merchants here on Amazon. A careful inspection of these filters will show you that they are indeed an aftermarket product and not a rebranded Dyson OEM reject or anything like that. I would say the cosmetic workmanship is a bit better on the Dyson OEM filters compared to these.. but then again.. these are filters, designed to wear out and be changed out.. so cosmetic workmanship is completely unnecessary. The actual differences are so small between these filters and the OEMs from Dyson as to be a non issue. I don't know how they hold up when cleaned and washed.. but honestly.. cleaning and washing Dyson filters has always been a pain.. so I simply replace them when they get dirty. And a 3 pack of these will easily last a year even without cleaning and still cost less than one Dyson OEM replacement filter directly from Dyson.

They fit well on the vacuum. When vacuuming heaver carpet , they will squeal as the air leaks around them. On lighter carpet or non-carpeted surfaces they work great. Will not purchase again.

If you own a Dyson the extra filters are a must. We have two. One is V15 and the other a V15 Aqua. They get used several times a week, as we have kids and pets. Having the extra filters is a must in between washing and drying the others. Work well and does the job well.
