I've had this ice box for about a year and I love it! For those complaining about an odor after several months - I found out online through some research that you can bake the silicone tray (only the tray) at 350 for about an hour - hour 1/2 and it will burn off the weird smell/taste. I tried it yesterday and it worked! May not be worth it for some, but I don't mind it. Also, if you don't fill the tray completely to the top, it makes it a lot easier to pop out the ice. I hope this helps.

The tray fits easily in the freezer and holds about 3 trays of ice cubes as it says. The different shapes make the ice cubes look really unique. They are very easy to pop out of the silicone. When turned upside down, light taps cause the ice to fall right out of the tray and into the container quite easily. As far as filling it up, I use my water filter pitcher and pour over it in all the holes. super fast and efficient. My fridge in my new house has a broken ice maker and eventually I am going to upgrade appliances so don't wish to pay to fix the ice maker. this works out perfectly. I always keep a full tray on top of the container too as extra and continue to refill when using a few cubes so never really run out. Probably not good for a large family who uses a lot of ice. But for moderate use for a few people works great

I don't rave about a lot of stuff and it's a surprise to love something as much as I love this combo. I use A LOT of ice. I freeze tea cubes for my ice tea, I freeze coffee cubes for ice coffee, I freeze fruit cubes…you get the idea. I've gone through a lot of ice trays and I've monkeyed around with a lot of ice bucket combos for my apt freezer. I feel like I've won the lottery on this one. Cubes freeze fast, are the perfect size for my Aladdin thermos glasses (I can get the straw to stay in the middle of the cup and screw the lid on, at last). The trays are easy to fill (trick, fill the middle of the tray and squeeze the sides to spread out the liquid to the slots around the edges), easy to unload and the bucket holds everything beautifully. No, the tray is not suppose to "attach" into the bucket, it rests on top very nicely. Highly recommend white as everything is more visible than in black. I was hoping they sold this tray separately, but they don't, as I would like some extras.

Held off on getting this, and so glad we finally did! We don’t have an ice maker, this is great. Allows you to fill up the box about 2.5 times. And ice doesn’t disappear if left in the freezer. Cubes fit in the small neck of our water bottles. And are easy to punch out of the mold. A little pricey, but we few it was well worth it!

I have had this for a bit now. It works fine, however I do find that removing the ice cubes from the cap can take a bit and sometimes I just can't get them out. It is very sturdy, just not as easy to use as I would have liked.

My roommate had one and I realized I had have one of my own. This is probably the best ice tray I've ever had in my life. It's smooth, solid container quality, and you can bake out the silicone if there's ever a scent issue (made to be cooked in the oven). Why do I like it so much? It works so much more smoothly than standard ice trays and it holds a lot more with unique shapes that just look good. The container ends up holding a lot of ice and takes up a good space that is otherwise unused with most ice trays. I honestly sound facetious, but this is actually..really good ice tray technology. I love this thing, it's worth the price. It also is a solid build and quality about it.

I have to have ice in my water, so I was bummed when I moved and my new fridge did not have an ice maker. I am such a brat about having ice all day I almost went out and bought an expensive ice maker! But this ice box saved me tons of money!
