My roommate had one and I realized I had have one of my own. This is probably the best ice tray I've ever had in my life. It's smooth, solid container quality, and you can bake out the silicone if there's ever a scent issue (made to be cooked in the oven). Why do I like it so much? It works so much more smoothly than standard ice trays and it holds a lot more with unique shapes that just look good. The container ends up holding a lot of ice and takes up a good space that is otherwise unused with most ice trays. I honestly sound facetious, but this is actually..really good ice tray technology. I bought a completely gutted/remodeled home with all new appliances. My only complaint was that there was no water hookup for the ice maker. I struggled for a couple of years finding something that would make ice but I would have to store ice in a ziplock bag. This product is perfect. The elegant design of the unusual shapes and thoughtful design of having the tray be a kid and tray works really well. I have had this for a bit now. It works fine, however I do find that removing the ice cubes from the cap can take a bit and sometimes I just can't get them out. It is very sturdy, just not as easy to use as I would have liked.
