This guy is dead simple to use and sounds great. If it’s not transparent, it’s wry close to it—but mono. You do have to work on your timing/coordination/memory to get perfect loops, but it’s doable. Most loopers are just as challenging in this regard. The Ditto+ is a very similar looper for twice the price, but still worth it for its ability to import loops and thus have perfectly timed loops. This looper claims to be able to do it, but it doesn’t seem to work with my computer. There’s a chance the Ditto+ wouldn’t either but I decided that I really don’t need that functionality anyway. It is possible to just ‘loop’ a backing track on this device. The Ditto+ also has more memory slots, but 9 is enough for me. If you want preprogrammed drums, extended overdubs (the Ditto+ does that) and/or stereo, there are other loopers that will fill the void. A simple, cheap, perfect sounding mono looper with 9 memory slots is what you have here. It has a built in tuner as well if you don’t have perfect pitch or good relative pitch, but I’ve never used it. The fact that it comes with a power supply is very nice. Unbeatable for the price. Right now I just put my backing tracks in just like I was looping. It works really well though it would be nice to drag and drop. I guess I’ll have to read the manual to see if I can get the drag/drop backing tracks to work. I’d say you can’t go wrong with this looper as long as it has every function you are looking for.

Easy to operate and learn how to loop

I'm 72 and have been playing guitar and bass for 50 years. The last 35 have been playing alone at home. I'm not capable to play 2 guitars at the same time like Stanley Jordan. So, this little looper is a real nice way to play along to anything you can input. Play a song and play along to it. Great to now play leads over rythmic tracks. Really good quality and easy to use. Also easy to save the loops on my Mac. The tuner works great too. It's fun and inexpensive .

As a looper it works great. The tuner however, after a couple uses, once I got down to the g and b strings it was indicating I needed to tune it down a couple steps which was obviously wrong. I still dig it cuz I primarily wanted it for the loops. Still familiarizing myself with it and perhaps the tuning idiosyncrasies were anomalous.? Considering it's affordability and it got me at least half way there when tuning and it loops well, I can't complain.

Just received today so I have nothing to say about longevity. My last looper was a Sonicake, which may have been defective and I returned it. The Lekato, so far, works perfect and is much better than the Sonicake, which was completely unreliable. Footswitch operation is the same on both but the Lekato's volume output is much greater. I checked the noise level with and without it and with and without the power supply and there is zero change in the amount of "hiss noise" through my amp, so it does not add noise at all. Btw, I am running this through the effects loop, last in chain. The looping lights are nice even though it's not really needed. It comes with a tuner that works quickly, pretty basic tuner, but I still prefer my Donner DT-1 tuner. But if you don't have a tuner the Lekato tuner will be sufficient for you and you can tune down with it, etc.. I will update if this pedal starts failing.

A really nice guitar Looper. Very easy to operate. I received it very quickly. Priced very reasonable. It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, but doesn’t hinder the operation at all. 5 star for sure.

Ive been learning guitar for about a year now and got this just to play around with and i love it. it is very easy to figure out and set up, and is great if you want to start messing with putting background over your playing. The sound quality it puts out sounds exactly like if I were playing it on my guitar and works well with other pedals too. the fact that it comes with a power supply is also a nice addition. great purchase overall

Good recording quality but have to keep the sound turned down low on the pedel and gyitar outpur as it overloads easy. Contaced support and they said this was typical of thier pedals.
