  • There’s a reason so many love this pedal!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
Don’t be fooled by the name- I’ve played guitar for over 25 yrs and never tried this pedal until now because I wasn’t a “blues” player. This is probably the most versatile od AND distortion pedal that I have come across for the price. I have tried the Donner “blues drive” which is supposed to be similar to this pedal and while it is a nice pedal, the “sparkle” and “clarity” was missing. Another thing… the gain on this pedal is insane- lots of gain on tap and as gain increases the bass seems to increase as well which might not be for everyone. I’ve found success using this as a standalone overdrive, a “boost” for another pedal or amp, and a distortion. Great pedal, I can now see why this pedal is so revered and “modded” by others. ... show more

  • Blues pedal
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
I’m a tone chaser for many years and this pedal delivers on so many levels. It has an insane amount of gain, and the “boost” is just what the doctor ordered. I’m highly impressed by this little pedal. I would buy again in a heartbeat. If you need a quality product and are a chaser like myself you will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • Does the job
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
Still brand new with the pedal so figuring out how to modulate the volume etc. but overall I am happy with it.

  • Keep your BD2 and keep your $80...
Style: WAZA Craft Pattern Name: Pedal
BD2= $95 vs BD2w= $175.... 99.9% of the guitars players out there won't be using what the 'w" version brings to the table. Actually whatever it is, I am still not sure. If you have a celebrity guitarist who has a guitar tech working for you on the backstage of your concerts he/she may make this useful but if you're like me playing in your home and jamming with friends or playing solo with backing tracks then you'll quickly realize the "w" is useless as a hand-warmer in hell! So if you really want a Blues Driver for any reason get a Standard version of BD2 and save $$ !!! ... show more

  • One of my favorites!
Style: Standard Pattern Name: Pedal
This Boss Blues Driver has become one of my new favorites. It sounds good solo, or grouped with other pedals. The sound is so nice. It is a really sturdy pedal too. It also sounds good with a variety of guitars (Strat, LP, Flying V). It even sounds good on a small practice amp. Whether you are in a band or just a home noodler, you will love this pedal. If you only ever splurge on one Boss pedal, this is the one to get. ... show more
