Ordered 3 pairs of these chairs, and they are perfect! They are not fabric, but something like vinyl that is textured like fabric. The wood legs are solid and beautifully finished. My husband said there is a process to assembling them, but we had no issues with any of them. I was mildly hesitant to order these chairs based on some the the more critical reviews centered on ease of assembly and durability/strength of the chairs. I have to believe the several reviews that lamented on the level of difficulty assembling the chairs failed to read the 1 page assembly instruction (1-sided of 1 page to boot). The chairs were "easy-breezy" to put together...if you take 2 minutes to familiarize yourself with the parts and instruction steps. Took me about 15 minutes to assemble each chair - taking my time. Once fully and properly assembled I am pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the chairs are. While light, they feel completely solid (and quite comfortable) when I plop my 210 pound frame down onto them. My wife and children love, LOVE these chairs. I do too. If the chairs start to come apart over time, I shall revisit this review and provide an update, but as of right now they are an easy 5-star purchase. ... show more

I bought these counter chairs as part of a staging scene for a renovated kitchen and they worked great. They were very easy to assemble, they felt great to sit in and the colour of the fabric was just right for the room. I sold these to my neighbour when the house was sold a couple of weeks after putting these in place and putting the house on the market. I wish I had kept them for another house I have been renovating, but at this low price it was easy to replace them online. I would highly recommend them. ... show more

These were well packaged, and my husband was able to assemble the two stools in less than an hour. He commented how clearly the instructions read and that the labels were appropriately attached to each part. My husband and I found them quite easy to assemble. They do not wobble at all. They feel study and safe. We are accustomed to heavy barstools, and these are a nice change! We used them this morning and found them extremely comfortable. Sturdy, comfortable, perfect. Highly recommend. Incredible value for the price. Seat color is a very nice light gray, wood is weathered dark brown and gray. Easy to assemble. Seats are a bit waxy feeling right out of the box. To spec as described.

The barstools arrived quickly. I assembled both in less than an hour by reading the directions and laying and identifying out the hardware first. The process was not complicated. I removed the plastic bumper on the bottom of the feet and replaced with thick felt pads so that my hardwoods are more protected. The stools are attractive and comfortable - a value for the price. The fabric is a light grey weave - not sure how it cleans up yet...we're telling the kids to be careful ;o). Pleased with my purchase! ... show more

These are the best $165 I've ever spent! I searched and searched for the perfect counter height chairs and finally pulled the trigger on these gems! These are so comfortable!!! The fabric is fabric, not plastic like some reviews suggest. It is a nice upholestry type fabric. Seems durable. The color is a very light tan-gray almost beige. The perfect neutral color. The wood is a weathered dark gray. Assembly was kind of pain, but I put both together myself in less than an hour. The seat height does measure right at 24" from floor, but when you sit in them, they sink just a bit. I tried to attach photos, but they wouldn't attach. ... show more
