I knew I needed to leave a review because it's so surprising to me that these only have a 3.5 overall rating. The things you need to know: - They're silicone ice molds. Ice doesn't just fall out of them after a quick twist like with plastic ice molds. This is common across all silicone ice molds I've ever used, no matter what size ice they make. - You're going to have to plan to have a couple of minutes to bend them around to get the ice out. We have a dedicated bowl we keep in the freezer to empty our ice into, and we have three of these, so the whole process from emptying to refilling and replacing takes 5-6 minutes. - You'll also have to be willing to figure out how to work with it. I struggled the first few times until my husband showed me his trick--flipping it upside down over the bowl and bending it in half, then pulling each end up while it's still bent (I think of the motion a shoeshiner would use with their cloth, only upside down, if that makes sense) several times until most of it is out, then popping the stragglers out from the bottom. These ice molds are flexible enough to work with and do the exact job they're supposed to. We love them. But if you're expecting to not put in any work at all, I'd advise purchasing a countertop pebble ice machine instead.

These are very good quality, very flexible. I bought these to make little ice cubes because I like to chew the ice when I drink tea. These make great little ice cubes but unfortunately it is very difficult and time consuming to get the ice out of the little squares.

Bought these to be able to make my smoothies easier. As well as my protein shakes. Easy to remove the ice. Trays are exceptionally durable. I love the design and functionality of it.

I bought these because I'm an ice chewer (I know, I know...). I thought smaller cubes would be easier instead of crushing large ones all the time. Wrong. But my real issue with these trays: it's all silicone... with 160 tiny 1cm x 1 cm cubes... that you have to push out *individually*. If there was some sort of solid piece shaped to line the trays that could help, but I ended up using them 2 times, trying various ways to get the cubes out easily and gave up. Aesthetically they are cute but not practical for every day use.

OK, yes these could be amazing. Ice cube trays with the best ice ever ! BUT I used mine to make a Minecraft resin box with lid!! Very durable ! Super flexible easy to clean ! I love the cube shapes !
