    • These Bulbs Last So Long, They Are A Fantastic Bargain
SYLVANIA General 40204 14 (100W Watt Equivalent), A19 Soft White Non-Dimmable 12 Pack LED Light Bulb are perfect for soft lighting in the home. I absolutely love these LED 14 watt bulbs that are the equivalent of a normal 100 watt bulb. These bulbs last 10 times longer than a regular bulb, which is great especially for ceiling lights. How I hated changing ceiling bulbs every few months, in comparison to a few years with these bulbs. Of special note, these are non dimmable bulbs. The light is 2700 Kelvin, a very soft light making a very comfortable atmosphere. I use 5000 Kelvin, a bright daylight bulb where I work, but for the rest of the house, 2700 is nice and soft, soothing on the eyes. The soft white 100 watt equivalent bulbs give a nice warm glow while providing needed light. With only 14 watts of power, they are energy efficient.     • Reliable bright light bulbs
I like bright rooms. Rather than adding more light fixtures, using brighter light bulbs is a better solution. In my experience as a shopper, Sylvania makes good light bulbs. This set of 12 bulbs is no different. Although there is no dimming feature on these, they work well out of the box with no issues. I installed these onto light fixtures which have no dimmers. The "bulb" is made out of plastic so it will not break unlike incandescents and CFLs. It has a white covering, sending out soft diffused light. This is a 2700K color temperature light so it's on the yellower side. It's suitable for powder rooms and bedrooms to create a relaxing soft mood.     • Great non-dimmable soft white bulbs
LED bulbs are great. They fit right in your old slots, last super long (I don't think I've ever changed one) and use a fraction of the electricity. We find ourselves using brighter bulbs in most places than we did with incandescent, and still use much less power. These Sylvanias are a great choice when you don't need a dimmer function. They're affordable, and at 2700 Kelvin, they're "soft white" with a little bit of amber for indoor use. (The Kelvin scale runs from 0 to 10,000, where 5,000 or so is bright white daylight style light, and as you go lower, lights get "warmer" with a little bit of amber or orange.) All in all, these are great for indoor use as long as you don't need to dim - strongly recommended! ... show more

    • Great replacement for old-style incandescent (if you don't need dimming)
We’ve pretty much switched bulbs to LEDs, but we still have spares that we are using. I was offered these, and my husband said to get them. These have the same shape as the classic incandescent light bulbs and the soft-white ones even have the same color. Since this is a 12-pack at a decent price, I finally took initiative and replaced the remaining bare-bulb incandescents in the basement, closets, and garage. They've been in place for almost two weeks and they look and perform identically, so much so that I have to remind myself that they're not. I installed 7 of the 12 and all of them worked and none of them have flickered or otherwise behaved poorly. I'm extremely happy with them. Highly recommend. ... show more

With a trusted brand like Sylvania you know these are going to be good. These soft lights look great in our bathrooms. The light is a bright yellow instead of a bright white. There is no warmup time so it's at its full brightness as soon as it's on but I notice it takes a split second to come on compared to my current bulbs. I love that these are the traditional round shape and not the spiral ones that I never really liked or trusted. With an estimated 11,000 hours of run time I won't need to change these out for years. A box of 12 should keep my bathrooms lit for 10 years at least, probably more like 20. ... show more

    • Bright and Soft White Non-Dimmable Bulbs
We have a few non-dimmable, non LED light fixtures remaining in our home, so we got the 12-pack of Ledvance Syvania General 40204 light bulbs. This is equivalent to 100 watts, so you're getting a bright light. It's a soft white color and is not harsh on the eyes. Remember, these bulbs are non-dimmable.
