Looks almost as good as real chrome. The photo shows the chrome film to the right. The strip to the left is abs plastic chrome. It will show through anything that is on what you are applying to. I sprayed 3m spray glue and it shows through. It is sticky but can be lifted and reapplied without extra glue. ... show more

Maybe the seller originally had different films for sale because each picture is different. What shipped looks closest to the 5th picture down. It looks and feels like the silver metal duct tape from any hardware store. It's pretty thick but I only laid it on a fairly flat surface. See the attached picture: All the scratches on the tape were from my thumb, just to lay it down and get a comparison. It scratches VERY easily so I wouldn't suggest this on a car that's going to be washed. The dark chrome is my original trim but it's peeling or spotted in places and since there's no realistic spray chrome, I figured wrap was the way to go. I even tried to buff this vinyl and that made it worse. The pictures of most of these "chromes" look horrible. I might try a gloss black instead. I did not have any issues using this product. I applied it to beverage containers and it is nice that there is a clear coating on top to prevent scratches during processing. Once I completed item I removed the top layer to reveal the brilliant shiny surface. I will follow up after my customers have had the items for a while. ... show more

This stuff saved my bacon when I accidentally damaged our chrome faucet. I was able to cut out the right shape and cover the damage with this stuff, and it has held up ever since. LOVE!
