It is a pleasant soft white that can go dim or decently bright. The connectors this product comes with are tiny! I couldn't find a use for them. Since I had to go around a microwave and pantry, I also purchased RGBZONE 32.8ft 3Pin LED Extension Cable Wire which worked well though the wiring is delicate. I plugged my lights into a smart plug so now I can have my Google Assistant turn them on and off. I still have the remote if I want to mess with the brightness or turn on the heartbeat setting. Not much to say in this review. My kitchen was too dark and this fixed that problem. These strips were very easy to install and include a nice array of extensions and adapters. Also, the controller is very small which made it easy to hide it on the corner of my cabinet and plug in behind my fridge (I live in an apartment so I can’t drill any holes in the cabinets or anything). This was our third and final attempt at finding under the counter lights we enjoyed. I love that they have changed white tones (we love the warm white) and that the remote has a timer on it. So far they’ve lasted 3 months and we leave them on almost 24/7 on a lower setting. Love them!

There was a strip of these in place when we bought our house. As you can see in the photo, the existing strip is a clear bright light. The new one is golden and not nearly as bright. The new strip has many improvements over the old one. The string parts and you can plug in plastic strips (which are provided) for ease of turning corners. There is a switch attached to the new one - I have to unplug the old one to turn it off. We got extra adhesive and small holders that we used on the old strip where it was beginning to sag. I got this because it was powered with an outlet rather than battery. It was installed within 5 minutes and works perfectly. I like that it has different timers. I like the yellow lights. Makes my kitchen more cozy.
