Installed both lamps quickly with no issues. Both worked as described and it is nice to be able to select 3 color temperature modes and adjust the brightness. The blue LED light of the button however is way to bright for sleeping in my opinion. I am glad there are instructions provided to cut the wire powering that to not have it on. I do like the blue LED though and it would be a nice night light before getting into bed so I might cut a hole in bottom of the unit and put in a small push button or rocker switch so the blue light can still be an option.

Love it! Only minor complaints. Why are the cords black? Clear would’ve looked so much better! And the button is silver even though everything else is gold/brass. Wish the light got slightly brighter but this is def still worth the money!

I had my dad install them (electrician) and he had no trouble at all! We put one next to my chair in the corner for just the right amount of lighting to read in my chair and one behind bed. Used both yesterday and they were perfect! Not too bright, but if you prefer the soft white (traditional light bulb 💡) look vs the bright white (LED) look, both are an option. At first dad was trying to “push” the button in to change settings, I tapped it and realized it’s a gentle touch to change settings which makes it much easier when half asleep to turn it off! My dad wanted to know which direction I wanted it in, so if you don’t want the traditional look up/down or limited space, you can install it in any direction you prefer! The only thing that may bother others that I, personally like is the blue circle lighting the switch for easy finding in the dark. It may be bright for others, but was not bright like a night light. So for those who like complete darkness, they may not like the light. However, it’s blue so not bright like nightlights. I think it’s a great idea. Well thought out, excellent priced, reading light: 1. Easy to install 2. Doesn’t take up much space 3. Snake light allows easy adjustment and when finished can be pushed flat against wall 4. 3 settings to appease all preferences with both soft white (like incandescent) and day bright LED with perfect brightness (not blinding & no straining) 5. Blue illuminated surround touch button for fumbling free find in the dark. 6. Gently touch button to change brightness. 7. Great price for a 2 pack!! I may buy more in the future if need arises! Highly recommend if you’re looking to turn off main light and just have directed reading light.

Didn’t go full 5 stars because the button light is brighter than a nightlight. Something you don’t want right above you when trying to sleep. A little dark colored model paint solved the problem. Having a real option for this to be on or off would be ideal.

This is a well built light with excellent functions. A great value! Only point to mention, like many other reviews, the blue-lit control button was too bright for our taste. I followed the seller's easy-to-follow instructions for disabling the blue light. If you need a night-time night light, the blue light would serve well.

Overall, the lights work exactly as advertised. Clip the tiny white wire feeding the button and the VERY bright button LED is gone. This doesn't affect the lamp functions. The mounting bracket has some horizontal adjustment in it. You may need it. I mounted the brackets perfectly horizontally but the holes in the side of the light casing are not quite at 3PM and 9PM, more like 2:30PM and 8:30PM, at least on mine. This means he whole assembly is slightly rotated away from vertical when matched up to the horizontal mounting bracket. Attaching the brackets to the wall at a sight angle away from horizontal compensates for this.
