I looked at no less than a dozen different options for lighting of the art shown in the pics, I picked this one out of all of them, and I'm glad I did. I like pretty much everything about it. The gold finish is nice, not high gloss, but more satin ... if it's too bright for you, you can always "antique" it a bit with a very light dusting/speckling of black or brown spray paint. Three different "colors" of white light (umm ... does anyone really need/want multi-color lighting for illumination of wall art? I don't); all dimmable, time-able, and fully control-able by remote; slim/clean design; fully wireless, runs on rechargeable lith/ion battery that's inside the light housing, and not in the wall mount, so you don't have to mount or look at this big, bulky box on top of your artwork; entire light array/assembly is securely held on the mount by magnet, easily removed/replaced when the light needs to be recharged; the joint where the light harness connects to the wall mount pivots freely up/down to allow very exact adjustment of the light angle on your art, and I found the wall mount very simple to install, even though I had to set one of the screws in a stud and the second one in a drywall anchor only. The only minor quibble I might have is that the pivot joint doesn't connect to the post that protrudes from the wall plate at an exact, 90-degree angle, so when you're looking at it straight on, the arc of the post isn't straight up/down, but tilted a tiny bit to one side. No big deal, though, as what matters most is that its easy to make slight adjustments to the clockwise orientation of the light, so that it's in exact horizontal alignment with the top line of your art/frame. But for this very small issue, I'd give the product SIX stars. Very pleased so far. ... show more

It is a unique product and a fancy picture light. Very good product which performs the job very well. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Functional picture lights - Bright enough as a focus light - Has multiple levels of dimmable features & few color options to choose from The remote has all the functionality controls in it including timer settings - Has inbuilt rechargeable batteries in it to save on AA/AAA battery costs in the long run - Very easy to install. It comes with all the required things to hook up the product anywhere. Light mounts magnetically to the included stand - Very reasonably priced too Cons: - Lacks motion detection feature so you need to operate manually whenever needed ... show more

Pros: The mount has a hinge so the light can be adjusted up and down. Comes with a remote When it is turned off in low light mode, it turns back on in low light mode. Which might be my favorite feature since I am most often using it for it’s low light feature late at night. Good sized. So far, good battery life. I think we’ve only had to charge it twice so far. Once when it first arrived and then maybe 3 weeks or so later. It’s difficult to gauge time based on use, but it seems to be pretty good at this point to me. Has multiple light modes and settings. Has both the warm and cool white lights, plus one that is a little of both. Cons: No real cons with it at this point. If that changes I will try and update this review. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This light is exactly what I was looking for. It’s rechargeable and attaches firmly to its beautiful base with a strong magnet. This little “gallery room” in our house was quite dark. This light now meets its purpose, while looking intentional. I love it!

This picture light is very bright because it doesn’t have a plastic shield in front of the LED lights. It’s great for a dark area with a nice picture frame. The golden color matches well with one of my golden frames. The include remote is simple to use; 3 colors, plus or minus intensity, and timers. What makes it less ideal is that it’s heavier than the other picture lights I have. This is not an issue if mounting with screws but it could fall off if mounting with tape. The other is pricing. For the same performance and functionality there are much cheaper lights on Amazon. The advantage of this unit is that comes with a 5200mAh battery which tends to last much longer than some kitchen cabinet lights that are only 2000mAh to 3200mAh.
