This lamp is being used to illuminate a game board corner - a rather throwback space in the age of electronics. The industrial style of the lamp had won me over and I awaited its arrival with great anticipation. Alas, in the final stage of the assembly I opened the double styrofoam protected package last, only to find that the frosted glass shade had been broken somewhere in shipping. I immediately contacted the company (Deeak) to ask them if they would send a replacement shade instead of my returning the entire lamp and then ordering another. They were quick to respond and today my lamp beautifully illuminates a tournament-sized Acacia wood chessboard with hand-carved medieval figures all sitting on a hightop pub table. I had initially purchased this item because I thought the idea of being able to change the brightness and color of the lamp would be just perfect for my apartment. It arrived in two days and was super easy to put together. However, a problem arose two days later, after I had already thrown away the box, when the remote stopped working. I have changed the batteries twice and they obviously work because when I click the buttons the light turns blue, indicating it's on. The only way I can turn the lamp on is by the button attached to the base and I am unable to utilize the features that the remote offers. I would have loved to give this item five stars, but the fact that the remote doesn't work is a big negative. Edit: The company emailed me back and said that there was a pairing issue with the lamp and the remote and gave me the steps to fix it. I am now changing my two stars to four and I love this lamp! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Seriously though, this is a great lamp. I like the simple style. Super happy with how it changes color and brightness. Programming the remote was fast and easy. And the fact that the remote magnetizes to it is a cool feature.

I cannot believe how great this lamp is considering the low price. The lamp was super easy to put together. The frosted glass shade is very nice. The remote and being able to adjust the dimness/ brightness and hue/temperature of the light are also fantastic. I was shocked that it even came with the dimmable/color adjustable light bulb! (Also came with batteries for the remote, and the remote works well and is very responsive.) The base of the lamp is very weighted so no risk of the lamp tipping over if you bump into it or something. It also has one of those on/off buttons on the cord at the bottom which makes it easy to push with your foot to turn the light on/off (or you can use the remote). I would definitely buy another one (or more) of these lamps in the future!!! And if they have matching table lamps, I will probably look into getting one or two of those as well. Love being able to control light by a remote. I needed the varied brightness for my bedroom whether in my comfy chair or in bed. I read, watch TV, use laptop, etc, can use remote to adjust. FYI you have to activate the remote first by turning lamp on by cord button then power the remote on and off. Ta-da. This is day one. Who knows. Bought the brown tone for great price reduction. Put together easy except for those pesky styroform bits. Went together straight even though my pictures might appear slightly leaning thats due to my carpet will have to mash down a bit. Makes a nice lamp for beside a chair. I like the height and the glass globe is very attractive; so is the brown finish. Bulb was incuded, yeah. ... show more

Update 6/30/21: Amazing customer service!!! Seller reached out to me and offered to resolve the issue that I had with the previous product they sent. They sent me a new product which is perfect. It's working beautifully as expected. Easy to assemble and use. Amazing brightness. Thank you so much Deeak! I had never experienced such an amazing customer service till now. ------------------------- We received a used product. As soon as we opened the lamp base from it's cover, there was sand all over the bottom side of the base and also inside the cover. Unfortunately, I cleaned and wiped the base immediately before realizing that I had to take pictures. But I have attached the pictures of the package and the plastic cover that still has sand in it. This worked great at first. With in a few months the remote quit working & you can’t utilize the different settings. Now the only option is turn it on by the foot pedal (not easy where I have it in my room) and a very harsh light. Too late to send it back. Edit… seller messaged me & walked me through the process of re-pairing the remote. When that didn’t work they sent me a new remote that I was able to sync to the lamp.
