    • Solidly built but not super bright
These LED lights are pretty simple - they are just lights with a bracket and a cord. No switch or other controller. As is, they can be used as temporary lighting by simply plugging them in, or used with a switched outlet. As work lights, they're not all that useful without a freestanding base although it's possible to screw them to a wall, floor or ceiling. These could also be outdoor lighting with receptacles on a timer or other control. They appear to be very well sealed and the housing is solidly built all metal. The bracket would work well under an eaves or on a wall. I wound up using them as replacements for a couple of double 40W fluorescent shop lights on switched outlets in my workshop. These LED fixtures should outlast many many fluorescent tubes and even a few ballasts. But each of these rated at 10000 lumens didn't seem as bright as 2 40W fluorescent tubes rated at 2200lm each. The light spread is roughly the same as the tubes with reflectors, something like 90 degrees on the narrow axis. Overall, well made but the brightness could be higher for 100W LEDs. ... show more

Love these flood lights! Extremely bright, even for the size, which doesn't really matter in the end, especially seeing how bright they are. The casing is really durable, too. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it had an automatic sensor to turn on and off or an on and off switch. I have to plug and unplug it when not using it. ... show more

We live down a dead-end drive with no streetlights so these were definitely needed. Easy to hang up right out of the box with the included hardware. And let me tell you they are super bright. Put one out front and one out back of our house and they light up the entire yard. It's been raining and we've had below freezing temps and have had no issues with the lights at all.     • Bright lights
These lights are bright. I do not have a lumen meter to verify the 10000 lumen claim in the advertisement, but they are about what I would expect from a 100w LED flood light. The mounting bracket is fine, it could be a little stronger, but seems to work fine. I like the plug on the lights. I dont always have an outlet to plug them into, and sometimes hard wire them to a junction box, but having the plug gives me the option of cutting the plug off if I do not need it. I like the lights and time will tell how they last and how they handle the weather. So far so good. For now I can recomend these flood lights. ... show more

    • Great and not so great
So I needed a light for the yard behind my place since it's dark as pitch back there so I picked these up,and they're both good and bad. Get the bad out of the way first since it's pretty minor: The light has a u shaped bar attached to the sides that pivots and has three holes along the back to screw into various things,two are elongated and one circler however....it's a bit flimsy,I bent one a little futzing with setting it up and straightened it with my hands. The great is the light itself,it's well made with a glass lens and a metal body of some sort,diecast looks like and holy hell is it bright,I set it up in a window and flipped it on,it lit up most of my backyard and a good ways down the hill to the creek on my place. Would I recommend this? Yes the mounting bar being flimsy is a minor quibble and the important part,the light,is great and for the price you get two,if you wanted and have tools the bar can be replaced so not a deal breaker ... show more

I knew these lights were heavy duty just from handling the package. They came packaged well and were undamaged. Worth noting lately in my opinion. These will be used as work lights so I won’t be able to attest to how they stand up in the elements. I mounted these to a scrap piece of composite board so that they wouldn’t get knocked over in the setting I’ll be using them in. I was able to remove the bracket, use the pre-drilled holes to easily mount to the board with screws, and put the bracket back on – in just a few minutes. These are some of the brightest lights I’ve ever worked with and don’t recommend looking directly at them. I used them priming/painting new sheetrock on a job where lights weren’t installed yet and they lit up the entire workspace. I could feel heat coming off the front, but it never got too hot to touch – while the back remained cool. I’ll be using these frequently and will update if they don’t last. ... show more

These lights do a great job brightening the space up so everything is well illuminated. I like to use them for work when I’m working in a particularly dark space, and they work great.
