We replaced the lights in the front of our house with one of each on either side of the front door. We have a 2 story Colonial and even though these are modern looking they look great on our house! They really look beautiful especially when they are lit up and the bubbles show on the glass. They do exactly what you want then to do which is light up the area when it gets dark outside. They should be good for years without replacing any bulbs or anything like our last fixtures. We had the electrician install them and it took about an hour total to do the job. I wanted to write a review because it helped me to decide which lights to get when I read someone else's recommendation of a product. I would say to seriously consider getting these lights if they meet your particular criteria. We are so happy with end result - They are reasonably priced and look amazing on our house. ... show more

Fairly easy to install but the heavy bubble glass, (because it's actually 1+"thick glass) has to be installed before you hang the light, so extra hands would be helpful for the novis installer. The hanging bracket is nice it's square so it will attach to a round box & not fall in when the screws are tightened to the box. There's no photo cell on these lights, which I prefer, because I use wifi connected switches, so photo cells, aren't needed. All metal construction, so there's light should last a while, as long as the led diodes keep working. Completely happy with the look of these lights and their brightness. ... show more
