The "collar" is just a flexible clear plastic rod. Use scissors to cut-to-length. I sized it just small enough to slip over my dog's head without having to take it apart every time. Charge lasts for maybe a week. Charge with a USB micro-B. Yes I would buy again.

    • Better than the similar BSEEN model I bought

I bought me a similar product from BSEEN. That product worked almost identical to this product with a few exceptions which, together, turned out to be a big deal. The BSEEN product did not have a solid fastener for the rubber tubing into the lighting device. Because of this, it was not uncommon for my dog to brush up against something and the tube would disconnect and the collar would fall off. Both the NOVKIN and the BSEEN model have the same 4 lighting modes (solid, slow flash, quick flash, off) which are cycle by pressing a button on the lighting device. The order in which you cycle these modes wouldn't normally matter. And most people are going to use the solid color mode 99% of the time. However, in the BSEEN product, the cycle was slow flash, quick flash, solid, off. So if the dog happened to brush up against something, dislodging the collar and also pressing the mode mode button at the same time, this would result in the mode going from solid to OFF. So now you are trying to find a collar laying on the ground or in the weeds with the collar off ... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND = LOST COLLAR. The NOVKIN product has fixed these issues by both supplying a solid tube connector and also switching the mode cycle to solid, slow flash, quick flash, off. So your collar won't come of in the 1st place and, even if it did, and the mode button was also activated, it would switch from solid to slow flash making it much easier to find in the dark. ... show more

This is a nice little LED collar. I live in an apartment complex near one of the entry gates. Now that it’s standard time, it’s dark when I get home from work. It can be dangerous walking my black dog in the dark. With the collar I know he can be seen when we cross the drive. I really like the slow flash mode. It’s enough to make us more visible. I was confused about the length when I first got it because it didn’t include instructions. But I saw another comment where someone mentioned cutting it to length. I followed their advice and measured it against my dog’s collar before cutting it. I didn’t give this a 5 because of the lack of instructions and the confusion about the collar being “adjustable.” And secondly, because it feels a little flimsier than I’d like as far as fitting the collar into the LED light attachment. The media could not be loaded. I have a black dog and she loves to be where I am so I liked the idea of having this collar so I could see where she is in the dark. She is a German Shepherd so she doesn’t short hair and I was a little concerned. It works great though, and it gives me more peace of mind that I can see where she is. The light is bright but each end keeps falling out. One end should be permanently attached. If my dog shakes, it falls off. Tried over and over to get it to stay and all you do is stretch the opening. The light is bright though. no instructions were included either.
