they are cedar and I am using them but they are rather small for the price. I guess cedar is now like gold.

All different shapes and sizes. You can use sachets or just plunk a couple of pieces in your storage bag or box. My favorite medium for needle work is wool. Moths must be held at bay.

The cedar blocks were received as advertised. The smell is nice, but not overpowering. If you want a 'cedar' smell in the entire closet, these will not provide that, but they do have a cedar smell. The only thing I was surprised about was the size of some of the items, like the balls. They are not much bigger than the size of a quarter and the blocks are a bit smaller than I was expecting. Overall, good for the price.
