I've knocked two stars off for the USB ports being mostly worthless. If I read the specs in the directions correctly (see the pic - I couldn't find any specs on the item page here), the USB ports *together* have a max output of 5w. That's one step above the old mid-2000s limit of 5V at 500 mA (total power of 2.5w) - my tablet charger from 2010 could charge this fast and just about everything since has been way faster. Nowadays most things are at *least* 10w, if not 15-25w (and some fancy ones pushing 45-50w or higher). Most phones don't consider something "fast-charge" until it's 15-20w. Even for wireless charging 7.5w is considered low-end (and that's for a single device - not split between two like this). The 5w is probably fine for low-draw devices (ie a watch or earbuds) but it is terribly insufficient for a phone - the phone will probably drain power faster than it'd charge with this, particularly if you have two things plugged in and it's having to split power between them. This is just not acceptable for being a selling point in 2024. This appears to be because the DC output from the power brick is 15w - so the lighting takes roughly 10w and then has some 5w left over for the USB ports. There is one USB-C and one USB-A (regular rectangular one). As mentioned, don't use them for a phone - it's an exercise in frustration. Now to good things. The overall build quality seems good. There is a hefty base plate that keeps it balanced in every situation except for having the arm fully extended horizontally. If you have it vertical at all you'll be fine. Assembly is easy - one screw to attach the base to the arm (and it comes with the allen wrench for that). Use is quite intuitive. On the lowest arm piece (without the light) there are four buttons, two each of power and color. The top button turns on the top arm and the bottom button turns on the middle arm (the bottom of the two lights). Press the power to cycle through the brightness levels and press the color button to toggle through those. You can have one on and the other off, or have them different colors (see the example pics). Long-press the power to turn it off as-is or press it several times until it cycles through the different brightnesses and turns off. The biggest thing for me is that it remembers your last state even with power-off. Using a smart outlet I'm able to turn this off and on, and it remembers which of the two lights to turn on and the brightness/color settings. There is a 1-2 sec delay from the outlet turning on and this light, but that's not a big deal - I'm just glad I can turn it on this way (many novelty lights like this require manual button pressing, which is tedious particularly at night (and I can use digital assistants this way). All in all it's good if you're looking for a light versatile in color, brightness, and shape (and if you want to use it with a smart/timer outlet like me). It is quite underwhelming if you actually are planning to use the USB ports. Just don't do it - you'll be happier and save yourself a lot of frustration.

Great desk light! Love the fact that there are 2 independently control light and you can configure it however you want. Lights have multiple color and brightness option. Great little perks with the usb-a and usb-c port behind the light for charging as well, although not very fast.

Desk lamp 360 deg. rotation 2 areas 2 LED bars (Black) The way it bends, and kept out of the way is ideal. Tuck the base on left right or side, and you have the whole desk area lit up. Countless ways to arrange the lights, takes a bit getting used to as I feel it could use at least one more 360 degree area rotation, but not a deal breaker. The weight of the base is perfect. No tipping at all even fully extended. Perfect for painting miniatures, or taking great photos, doing puzzles, or lighting up desk while drawing, painting or typing. I will use this everyday. The downside: Its somewhat misleading, there is only 3 clicks on each light for change, not 4. Not a big deal, just be aware. Tap to turn on or ranges low to high, high to low (not looped, and none of the clicks in cycle is off. ) Hard press button for a few seconds for off, and you need to control them individually, (two on outside not two in middle) I am still figuring out the middle buttons, it seems controls to the type of light produces (two blue one orange-ish) but it's subtle to me as I can see much change in variance. I will adjust to it, as will mainly stay "on" when I am home. Both plugs work for usb (one oval, one standard for charging or power) but the main power plug would benefit from being behind some plastic cover, as it is exposed and somewhat possible of being yanked or pulled out. It does sit in there but flat against the metal. I may consider a zip tie around the cord and base bottom to keep it from getting yanked out. Simple fix. not mad. I did like it, tad pricey but I'm cheap guy, so if you are saving up I would say this is worth it. Coupon down to $40-44 would be good. They roll the price of shipping into the "free shipping" so it makes sense why it's more. Again, not mad. Certainly an upgrade from the typical light bulb desk light, we are starting to come around to the future, and I am here for it. I may be a tad critical but wanted to be specific, and the photos and info should help to see if it is for you. Honestly, overall: I love it, and needed it greatly. I could never get light from a standard lamp right specifically where I need to see, and now my problems with that are over. Score. I ordered this for my teenage daughter who was spending a few weeks at a university summer camp. This lamp was easy to assemble (she did it herself), you simply use the included screw and Allen wrench to attach the lamp to the heavy base. The power adapter attaches to the bottom of the lamp attachment and the USA-A and USB-C charging ports provided enough power to charge her phone and Air Pods overnight. She really appreciated the adjustability of the lamp - besides the angles, she could dial-in the right amount of (ample) light and desired color temperature. About the only thing she disliked - and she said this was minor, maybe 5%-10% of the time - was that the touch-sensitive controls occasionally did not respond. This could possibly be attributed to fingers with dry skin or low humidity in the room, but it was never a deal-breaker because it would work the 2nd time she touched it.
