I bought these cues to donate to my local senior center. They are very inexpensive and serve the need for casual pool players. Yes, the shafts are not the highest quality and the wood grain is not particularly straight so they may be prone to warping in time, but six cues for the one fourth of what my pro shaft alone costs is truly a bargain. I ordered the 6 pool cues as extras for my guests as they looked great on the website and the price was good also. I received them this morning and decided to play a few games to get the feel of the sticks. At fist I noticed that it felt like I was missing the center of the cue ball. After playing a few games and not feeling like I was hitting the balls solid I tried the other ques. The same with them. I think that for the price this set is a fair starter set but for someone who plays much pool would notice how cheap these sticks feel. I am going to keep them and hope my friends will not notice, if they do I have better ones for them to use. ... show more

However these cues are nice. The screw on tips are ideal if you don't want to mess with the glue on thing I did for years!

Cues look great out of the box. Overall good value for price. But less than 2 weeks after unpacking, several of them warped within 4”-6” from the tip, and 2 of the handle wraps we’re coming loose. Great value. Back in the day the "plastic under the leather tip top would crack away after breaking for a while. It seems a phenolic compound is used and I have had no trouble and break fairly hard and often. The paint schemes are nice and all cues are straight. 6 cues for $100 is tough to beat

    • Good till they warp.
Bought these for our personal use. Was excited to get them. They were great in the beginning. Then after a few weeks 3 of the pool cues have warped. It is enough that they are no longer usuable. I guess for the price, 3 out of 6 ain't bad.

    • Nice Sticks But.....
Very nice pool cues. However, I docked it one less star because the cues are not labeled for weight. Everyone who comes to play pool always ask what the weights are. Somewhat frustrating. I tried to weigh them myself but my scale isn’t that accurate.
