I bought two of these overhead lights. They are beautiful and add sophistication to the bedrooms. Installation was an absolute BEAR, and I’m someone who knows my way around light installation. Here’s the issue: the base of the light is completely flat, which means there is no room to tuck the wires / twist caps under the base if your wires comes straight out of the ceiling. Finally got them installed. A simple divet in the base to store the wires would have saved much frustration. Other than that, very pleased with the look. ... show more

The lamp came well packaged. After opening it, I was not comfortable with how the glass was held in place with screws. I had fears of having to change bulbs and dropping glass. Sorry, but I returned it. Lovely to look at though.

When we bought our condo, it was full of 15 year old contractor grade boob lights with mismatched bulbs. We replaced six of them with this fixture, five installed by an electrician and one installed by me. So easy to figure out as this was my first time doing any electrical work! If you have an older home/funky plastering and junction box installation, you may need to use screws from the light you are replacing, both the electrician and I had to do that. The lights themselves look great when hung up. I even have one on a Lutron caseta dimmer (it works alright with the integrated led, but not perfect). The media could not be loaded. I love this little light! My only negative comment is that the white metal housing is very shiny and made the fixture look cheap. It also installs with silver screws that you can clearly see. So I just spray painted the white housing and screws with a matte white Rust-Oleum paint and now it looks great. The gold has a satiny finish and looks very nice. Bought this to blend with my Delta champagne gold faucets and other fixtures. It's not an exact match but it blends nicely. You can use any regular shaped light bulb in it, and the LED ones I chose are nice and bright in my laundry room. The frosted shade is glass and the first one arrived shattered but Amazon quickly replaced it. ... show more

I have change all of the light fixtures in my house over to led because there are a lot brighter then the plain out light bulbs this light fixture was very easy to install on the ceiling it is flush mount so it sit flat on the ceiling and look like a very expensive light fixture but at half to the cost the store wanted you will not be disappointed highly recommended ... show more

I ordered two of these lights for my daughter to replace some old fixtures in their new house. We saw the reviews about how easy they break, but she loved them and we thought we would just be very careful. When we were tightening the set screws on the first light, it took very little pressure and it broke out along one whole edge. The second light we got installed without breaking anything.
