Other net lights are fragile, and I would often lose a section of lights even though I was careful hanging them. I link these to hang on large palm tree trunks. I was skeptical with the net lighting. What a mess? Not for me. This is the 2nd set I have bought and so easy! Find the plug in connector as to where you want to start, using 2 people, have 1 hold the end and other unfolding the net to extend all the way and put over any shrub or item you want to decorate. We hung these festive lights around the canopy of our pontoon for the 4th of July boat parade, and they looked great! Granted, you couldn't view the lights in the daylight, but we kept them up for an evening ride to view fireworks on the lake and they looked awesome!! Love that they're battery operated and come with a remote. Unfortunately, one of the strands broke (I'd ordered two) when we were taking them down, so that would be my only negative thing to say, that they weren't as durable as I'd hoped. ... show more

The only bad thing about these lights is the price. They are very expensive. I am counting on these lights lasting many years, and making up for the huge price. The leading wire is extra long, which is the biggest plus. I didn't need an extension cord in order to plug these in. The lights work beautifully, and the colors are super bright. I don't use these Outdoors, I put them in my windows inside the house, and they are the exact size that I need. I highly recommend these lights, and if you can get over the large price tag you will be very happy. I have had them up for 2 weeks with no problems. ... show more

    • I got nothing...disapointing to say the least.
The instructions are awful. The picture of the battery pack has some writing I guess telling me something, but who can read it!??? I used my jewelers magnifying glass and the print is unreadable. It says something about the time won't work till the next night? What in the world??!! I have taken the batteries out of the box twice trying to reset it, because there seems to be a "switch" on the battery box for the timer part....something I read on a competitors post. They actually have it marked "on/off" but this one doesn't. So I wanted to disengage the timer so I could just turn them on! Nothing. I did remove the plastic they put between the battery on the remote and the .... whatever make the battery work, but who knows if that battery is even working> There's no light or anything to tell you if there is a connection or a good battery. With all the great reviews I really expected to at least get a light. I have nothing. So disappointing. Sure, I will contact customer service and hope for the best, but if you are like me and don't have time to deal with stuff like this, no instructions worth a dang, pass on these. I find it just crazy that no one else is talking about this or even asking questions like "what does it say in the picture beside the battery pack?" Yea sure there is a picture that has an arrow that is connected to nothing saying "On/Off." Is that just saying without batteries....? The line doesn't go to that button on the box?
