BEST LIGHT - and I’ve tried at least 4 different kinds of these over the years. This one is by far the best. Selling point for me was that the remote works through walls. The power strip is kept underneath my 55 gal tank in the base cabinet and so that’s where the sensor falls. Works great when I change settings even from across the room. There’s a lot of functional options to choose from. Highly recommend.

I have a 60 gallons and had small little led light, so I bought this one to replace it, and it does an ok job, not too bright but bright enough to make my fish more colorful, more vibrant in colors, I have koi and gold fish by the way. Easy to set up, but the suction cup to secure the led light didn't work well at first, it kept falling down and I had to adjust it redo it a few time but finally it's been tightly secure for a while now. When the light fell down into the water, it didn't do any damage to the light or the fish, so I guess it is water proof, safe to use under water? I don't know, I haven't tried it. so I kept it on top. There are many different colors to choose from on the remote, I didn't like any other one beside the original bright white one, because those other light aren't that bright, maybe those dimmer one for fish to sleep and there isn't an option on looping timer I can use, or maybe I don't know how to set it up yet. I would like the timer to be on at certain time and off at certain time, or turn on at certain time with certain colors and change to another colors at certain time, I have not figure that out yet as I don't even know if it's available because I don't see clock setting, it must be a loop like 4, 8, 12 hours etc ... which is not really helpful for me. Maybe I should get external power timer for just off and on.

Over the last few years I have purchased about three of these, for three different fish tank tanks in my house, the lights work well. They last a long time. The cord length is long. It is water resistance, and it has a lot of settings on the remote.

I am returning this item because one day as I am sitting watching TV I noticed the light on the fish tank flicker. I thought I had imagined it until I heard a fizzing sound at which I ran over and unplugged it and notice the plug was hot. THANK GOD I was home, as this could have caused a fire! They ought to be glad they are only having to refund me my money!

I love these lights. I have a 55 gallon, I wish I had gotten a larger bar, which I will, and then move these lights into my smaller tank. Very easy to install and the remote is easy to use. The colors are vibrant, but still soft enough for the comfort of the fish. I'm establishing the tank now, so it's lacking ornaments and fish, but you get the gist.
