This chair functions well and looks great! The stitching is white and very straight, giving it a professional look. It is quite comfortable as well. I'm at the upper end of its weight limit, and it is holding me quite well, not slowly shrinking down like my cheap old office chairs had done. The chair is wide enough that I'm not falling off, and I'm not stuck between the arm rests uncomfortably. They do flip up as well, but are nice to have down at all times, particularly when I sit back and take a break. I am 5'8" and 300 lbs. The back of the chair is ergonomic to my back. I do have abnormal curvature, so this is nice and helps to support me and help me keep good posture. The back of the chair is short, my head does not hit it when I lean back. It goes to about the top of my shoulders. I have a longer torso than legs. I don't mind the height difference in the chair versus me since I don't lean to rest in this that often, and instead use a couch, chair, or seat in the bed if I'm getting tired. This is much more cushioned to sit on than the kitchen chair I was using. It is comfortable and relieves a lot of pressure off of my nerves. This chair also has a small rock forward to it. I don't feel like I'm falling out, and do like that even at a tall height, it tilts just slightly so that my legs can scoot under the desk better. I can also keep it at a shorter height, with my legs bent more and feet resting on the floor and it doesn't rock around unless I push back to sit against the back. It is quite nice. I like that it doesn't lean back other than that so that I don't feel like I'm falling. I feel stable. The wheels roll quite nicely on my wooden floor and chair mat. They have no issues going back and forth, on and off of the mat. I believe this will hold true even when I put my very short pile rug down in the room. The legs are attached by screws, so you can lift it up without losing any. It does swivel to the side as well. It makes it easy for me to roll over to another table nearby to retrieve supplies and come back to my desk, or work at a T shape type desk without rolling so much. It is very easy to adjust the height while sitting in it. It stops as soon as you let it go and raises with minimal force and effort. I appreciate the ease of use, comfort, and high quality make and materials. It's a good chair all around!

I am 6' 6" and about 260 lbs. So finding a chair that fits me, that also has good support, is always problematic. This chair, for me, is not perfect, but it's very, very close. The chair comes with easy-to-follow assembly instructions and a couple extra screws. All the screw holes in all the parts lined up perfectly, and all the screws were easy to insert and tighten. They include a T-handled hex wrench that fits all the screws. I like that the wrench is T-handled. It makes the assembly go much easier. From start to finish (unboxing to completed assembly), it took me about 25 minutes, and there were no hiccups. HELPFUL HINT: When attaching the left and right arms to the back and seat, do not fully tighten the screws until everything on both sides is lined up and attached. Then go around again and tighten them all. This will make your assembly go much easier. As a big, tall guy, I love the support that the back provides to my lumbar area. I also love the chair's height range. At its lowest height, it is the same as the maximum height of the old, aging task chair this is replacing. At its max height, it is actually a little too tall for me, which surprised me. This is the first office chair I've ever owned that goes as high as this one does. Part of that might be because I swapped out the wheels that came with this chair for some polyurethane skate wheels I kept from a previous chair I owned. I find that polyurethane skate wheels help office chairs roll around much easier. All things considered, I am extremely happy with this chair. It is solidly built with a metal (not plastic) base. The description says that the maximum weight recommendation is 300 lbs. One of the pictures states 400 lbs, which I think might be a little bit of a stretch. But I don't think it would have any problems at all holding a 300 lb person. EDIT: One of the other reviewers stated that the back does not recline. This is not true. To allow the chair to recline, simply pull the handle that's under the seat out to the right. Then lean back. The stiffness of the recline can be adjusted by turning the round knob on the bottom of the chair.

What can you expect in a desk chair at this price point? I am a 6'2", 230lb guy. This chair fits me great. The seat does not seem very padded but its been a pleasure to sit in. The foam is firm without being hard. I really like it. It does not have adjustable height on the arms but the seat raises higher than my last chair. This puts the arms up at the same height as my desk. I was surprised by this chair. My old desk chair was sinking every time I sat in it and the foam in the seat was flat. I needed something inexpensive. This is a really good chair. It will tide me over as I save for something better. This might stay on as my every day driver, if it lasts. If you need a chair for a "sometimes" sit at desk, I am sure this would work. If it falls apart I'll update.
