I purchased this to use in the TV room to recline and watch television however, at 5’7”, it’s just not comfortable to for me to recline and it’s a little bit too small. My feet hang off the end. That’s not the fault of the recliner, that’s the fault of me for buying it. It is comfortable, and good looking, and I put it together myself without trouble as it is only a few pieces. It was kind of heavy to get into the house by myself - I had to roll it up the front steps. Although I’m not using it in the TV room as a recliner, I decided to keep it and use it in the living room because it’s a nice looking accent chair ... show more

I was on the search for a small reclining chair for this corner of my bedroom and this chair checked all my boxes. It was delivered within a week of ordering and was very easy to assemble. Maybe 30 minutes from getting it out of the box to sitting down in it fully put together. It is a firm seat but very comfortable. I got this for the color. It looks nice, but it’s uncomfortable and small. I would say the size is for someone 5’4” max 120lbs if not less.

It is well made and looks just like the picture. The only problem I had when I first sat in it was, it was uncomfortable. Since I am only 5 foot tall, the seat was too long for me. So I solved it real quick with a large pillow. Once I added that and a rectangular pillow for my head it was perfect. If you are 5' 4" or taller, I'm sure you would have no problem at all. The Lucas Beige Fabric Recliner is a nice looking chair that takes less space than usual reclining chairs. I had been searching for a reclining chair that would fit through a 30" doorway. Not many recliners will, but this chair does fit easily. The chair comes partially unassembled but is quick and easy to assemble. No tools are needed to assemble. Slide and lock the back and screw-on the 4 legs and you're done. The construction of the chair and recliner mechanism looks well made. The fabric and appearance of the chair makes it look like it cost considerable more. I am 6' tall and over 200 lbs. yet find the chair reasonably comfortable while watching a 2 hr. movie. The back and seat cushion is firm but comfortable. Normal strength is needed to push the chair into the reclining position. A weak person would have difficulty pushing it into the reclining position. Due to the smaller size of the chair, there are a few characteristics that are better on a larger, full size recliner. The height of the back cushion as a head rest, the height of the foot rest while the chair is reclining. The chair also does no lock in place when reclining in the fully back flat position. It does lock in the first position which is the normal reclining position for resting or watching TV. The fully back flat position would be more for taking a nap. After auditioning the chair, we felt it was satisfactory enough to buy a second chair for our TV room. In conclusion, I gave the chair 4 stars out of 5 for it's quality and appearance. I took one star off for comfort, since it is not as comfortable as a full size recliner. The chair took about 5 days to be delivered by FedEx. Considering the quality, price and free delivery, the chair is a good buy in my opinion but only if a smaller size recliner is needed due to room or doorway limitations. ... show more

This chair is exactly what I was looking for. Keep in mind, it is not some sort of La-Z-Boy recliner, so don't expect to send hubby to the dog house in this. The part you sit on is firm, but comfortable. The part your back leans against has a little more give and is a little reclined, even when when the recliner is not engaged. I am 5'7" and if I were to lean my head back, the drape of my neck touches the back of the chair and my feet just barely touch the ground. I like to fold my legs up indian style so my knees rest against the sides and put the computer on my lap.. but I also like reclining and putting the computer on my lap, too. Both positions are great for being on a lap top, which is what I'm doing right now! My 6'4" 230lb husband does fit in this, although a little snug, he said he likes it. It takes a little effort to get this chair into the reclining position. You have to really push yourself backwards in order for the foot rest to come up. Maybe that will ease up over over with use, but for now I find myself grabbing the sides of the chair and really using some force to get it up. But once it's up, it's very comfortable! You have the option of stoping the incline at any point, so if you only want the foot rest half way up, you can do that.. which is great! The color is exactly as pictured, it looks great with the grays, tans and yellows in my living room. I cannot wait to get a second one once we get the money to do so. Also, this chair only took 10 minutes for my husband to put together. His words were, "that was the easiest piece of furniture I've ever put together". The package did not come damaged, and the chair itself did not have any damages. There are a few snags in the fabric, but they can easily be snipped with scissors.
