This is so interactive and informative! My son is almost 7 and asks questions about everything, this is a great tool to use to get help in answering questions about plants, bugs, etc. I love that you can make your own slides, it is a game changer for our homeschool science lessons!

It is an ok microscope for the kid. It is not as exciting as the leap frog globe that I have. My son loves the globe as it has tons of info. This one is just ok.

My class loves this microscope! They get excited using it because they can use it all by themselves. The teacher does not have to assist them in anyway. I explained to the group of 5 year olds how to use it and they have not stopped exploring items. The focus knob easily adjusts to make the slides very clear I also love that it explains what they are looking at, they are able to find items to look at and explore. It has motivated them to learn more about insects and animals. If you want a microscope for kids like 4-12 years of age you will be glad you got it. Adults play with it too I've shared it with other teachers who love the clarity an ease of using it. I will buy this item in the future if it needs replacing. ... show more

I love that this comes with premade slides and kids can also add what they want to investigate. There are so many learning opportunities since it has over 200 preloaded videos/images. I was able to get it on a great sale so if you’re interested, keep an eye on the price!
