Was looking for a new fry pan and decided to upgrade to this le crueset since their Dutch ovens work so well. So far it has done well frying, sautéeing and browning meat. Cooking eggs has proven to be easy and stick free. It had also been a breeze to clean. Time will tell if the non stick coating lasts since other pans lost their non stick coating with use. Am considering purchasing a larger size. There may be less expensive pans that perform as well, but I’ve been happy with all my le crueset purchases and decided to give this a shot.

Nice pan!! Good weight, Nonstick moves the food nice as I shake the pan back and forth to flip. It is a shallow pan not deep which help flipping food. Easy clean up. This replaced my all clad. Had that pan for a few years and there was a perfect circle in the center of the all clad or wear. Contacted all clad and they said it was my fault and won’t replace it. Time to try a new company. I do own a few ceramic 9x12 Le Creuset which lead me to try this pan.

After a few months of "light" usage the pan sticks and burns the food. I requested a refund through the seller *Cutlery and More* and the response was because itt has been over 30 Days no refund will be given. I dont cook everyday so that 30 day time frame is ridiculous. For the amount I paid for this garbage I could have easily purchased 3 cheap pans and had a better experience.

I bought this specifically to fry eggs in a “non-stick” pan on low to medium heat, no oil. But the EGGS STICK and break when I try to flip or remove from this expensive pan. I’m plenty angry and disappointed and will never buy Le Creuset again. I’d like a refund but have used the pan. Also, it doesn’t balance well on stove. The handle is too heavy and much set right on burner or it’ll tilt. Grade F

I bought the 8" it seems smaller to me because the bottom isn't 8" its actually more like 6". I really wish they would base the size off of the flat surface in the bottom of the pan, since you don't put a lot of food on the sides. The pan itself is heavy, feel like quality and well engineered. So time will tell how well the Non-stick surface lasts. I am however disappointed in Amazon, as this is a Christmas gift and they didn't even have it in a box. It was just in the Manufacture box that was open and not taped up. So my wife was able to see the what was in the box, because it had the picture and verbiage all over the box. Surprise not surprised.........

Update: Going strong after almost two years!!! And I use it almost every day, multiple times, my main source of cooking. I never had a pan of this type lasting me more than 6 months. So definitely the quality is there. It is definitely wearing out, it is not as non stick as it used to, but still have some life left. I'll be buying another one for sure, I even saved money vs buying 4 pans during this time, so yeah really happy. As good as any other moderately priced nonstick pan. I really don't see any reason to pay this price but I like nice looking pans and this pan does look really nice. PFOA-free but who knows what else they have put in there... I don't think this pan will last longer than any other lower priced one, but I wanted to give it a shot, because every nonstick I had always ended up peeling, and LeCreuset claims that peeling will never happen to theirs. After looking the instructions it says that you can put it in the oven, but I wouldn't bother just in case. If it last me two years I'll be happy. If it doesn't I'll be here changing the rate. After seeing that picture in the review, I was worried about how will I receive the pan. Kudos to the seller who did an excellent job packaging and protecting this item. So no worries there guys.

It got misshapen after 5 months of use. Never put it in the oven, dishwasher or under a boiler. Explain to me how a frypan can get misshapen? One side is completely flat. Buyer beware. Amazon wont do anything other than to direct you to contact Le Creuset.

I donated this pan because it is completely inefficient on my glass induction cooktop. I had to put the pan on the highest setting just to get it to heat up and the pan heated only in certain spots and remained almost cold in others. It's either a total knock off or it is false advertising. Either way this pan does not work well on glass induction cooktops. I recommend you buy something else.
