The only reason I bought this product over many other tablets was it was advertised to be drop proof and water proof. It is neither. The manufacturer information states not to drop or to get the product wet.

*update* Wanted to update because I also ordered the dark blue 10" pad for my other son and it just arrived today. It arrived just as described and I am impressed with it! Would give this product 5 stars as it is durable and works wonderfully. I'm certain the other product I received was a packaging mistake. I am in the process of returning and re-ordering that one and hopefully will receive the correct item this time! I ordered the 10" red writing pad. After much research I settled on this one for my 3 year old because the reviews were great and it looked much more sturdy and thick than the others I had seen. When it arrived, it was light blue, which wasn't a huge deal, but it was also an entirely different product. The back is not solid and sturdy as the original product described that I had ordered. It is very flimsy and not fit for toddler play. Also 12" and not 10". Some reviews also mentioned that it included a protective case and cord to attach the stylus. That was not the case with the product I received. Again, not a make or break deal and I'm not one to be nitpicky about little things, but when I pay $20 for a good quality product after spending hours searching and deciding, I expect to receive what I paid for. ... show more

I bought 5 different tablets to choose which one I would keep for my use. I ended up keeping two in different sizes. However, don't be fooled by the price. I couldn't tell the difference between the cheapest ones to the more expensive $20 versions. I would just go with this one. If it has the features you are looking for, it is well made. My focus was keeping a think pad close by that I could use and erase. This one worked great for my purpose. I can jot what I needed. Use the information and start over. It is nice to not have a wastebasket full of wasted paper to throw out. Do you take notes while working online? Do you need to jot down codes and numbers to know for short periods of time and then you don't need it any longer? If so, this is for you! I also will use it to make to-do lists and what I will accomplish first the next day. Good purchase! ... show more
