I bought this October of 2023 for our front door. Installation was very easy and the blind works great. I would've given 5 stars but the adhesive strip only lasted about 8 months. The blind ended up falling down. My husband improvised and replaced the adhesive strip with a heavy duty double sided tape. Overall, works well. ... show more

Day 1:In all reality, after reading the brief directions, it took us about 10 min to install. Day 2: the entire shade and bracket fell 12 hours later. Day 3: Installed again using Gorilla duct tape to reinforce the shade. Day 4: Fell after 6 hours. Day 5: Bought Gorilla Two-sided 60lb tape!! Day 6: less than 10 hours later, shade falls with drywall attached to several areas of the tape!! THE SHADE IS TOO HEAVY. I BELIEVE if I could take the shade out of the bracket, tape the bracket first & then insert the shade 24-36 hours later, it might work, but right now I have to fix the drywall. All over the description of this item it says “no tools, no drilling or screwing required, etc. etc.” Yes, it comes with an adhesive strip on the top rail, but that’s not to hold it exclusively. It’s still requires hardware mounting. I needed a blind for an extremely hard wood frame, which is impossible to drill into, and I also didn’t want something that was going to damage the new paint.
