These blinds were installed in brand new patio door windows and because we did not want to drill into the new siding and risk damage to the window frame, these pressure mount blinds were the perfect solution. We purchased them as an experiment thinking they would not work but wanted to give them a try. Turns out they are Impressively easy installation, the quality seems appropriate and sturdy for the price and easily moves up and down. However, a light touch is needed to ensure the blinds are level when moved up and down. Sometimes we need to tinker with the shade to make sure it is level and not slanted when pulled down. They look good, not flimsy and fit well into the window frame. Overall a fun worth while purchase that works!

Super happy with these replacement blinds! I bought these to replace some old dusty fabric blinds with frayed string and wanted easy installation but also the top-down and bottom up feature (which I didn't realize I wanted until I saw that option on Amazon). I bought two and they were both installed in about 10 minutes time total. Extremely easy to install and tighten without any drilling and they work great! Slides nice and the fit is perfect for inside my window's frame. Would definitely buy again (and just might!).

I love these things! I live in an area where houses are very close together and the streets / sidewalks are well traveled. Having grown up on a couple acres, I'm a big fan of privacy. Unfortunately, there isn't much of that with open shades at my current residence... so - with old traditional shades - I was kind of forced to choose between privacy and sunshine / fresh air... but not anymore! Not only do these look great, but they also enable us to get some sunshine and fresh air (via lowering the top shades and window), while still remaining obscured from the view of passersby. The installation was super easy. In fact, the hardest thing about the process was removing the hardware from our old shades. There was one (of seven) shade that I initially thought was broken (as it would lower / raise from the top but not raise from the bottom), but I just gave a little tug on the strings - which reengaged the mechanisms - and it has been fine ever since. There are only two things I can think of that would make these shades better: (1) I wish the material was a little more waterproof / wipeable (for easier cleaning in the future). Especially with the white backing... I can only imagine how difficult it might be to remove the coating of dust from the back side when I inevitably remember to clean it. I've only had them for a few weeks, so I guess time will tell. (2) I wish that the "tools" and "no-tools" variants came in the same exact colors. Most of my windows are individually framed and can use this no-tools variant, however, I have a 106" multi-window frame that will require 3 side-by-side shades within the same frame (which necessitates the tooled install). Unfortunately, the available colors are not exactly the same for both variants sold by the brand, so I'll inevitably be dealing with a bit of mismatch when I finally purchase the shades for the bigger frame. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this purchase and would certainly buy these again.

these are GREAT! easy to install, the tension bar is really tight and stable, they look super nice and work exactly as advertised - easy bottom up or top down. I'll be ordering another soon for a different room in my house, and i'm eyeballing all my other windows for blind replacement LOL
