There is a 9/16 inch light gap on the left and 13/16 inch gap on the right. Please read the picture to learn the light gap may happen on the window.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these shades for our living room French doors to provide privacy. Pros: These shades arrived quickly - both times, were easy to install, and the gizmo that allows you to raise and lower them without effort works well! The quality of the shade seems to be good and they hang nicely. Cons: I ordered the wrong size the first time - well, the right size, but hardware is included in their measurements, so add 1.5 inches to what you need. When I went back to re-order, this is plainly stated, but I missed it somehow the first time. Second order was perfect. Although it's clearly stated shades can be mounted outside the window frame, instructions only include inside mount. This wasn't an issue for us, just mentioning it for those who might be confused by it. Colors offered for shade color are white and gray. I ordered gray, but would say it's really silver. Has a shine to it, not flat. Obviously not a deal breaker, but might possibly order white - or another color (flat gray?), down the road to switch out the shade color. Overall, I recommend these blinds. I might buy more for my windows. The color selections would be my only hesitation, so my suggestions for the seller is to offer more colors and include outside of window frame mounting instructions. Did I mention how much I love the gizmo to raise and lower the blinds easily!! ... show more
