Well worth the challenge to put it together.* *2 of the holes did not allow screws to stay in place. Despite the fact that I thought it was sold as a pair *it's not you only get one* it is actually quite nice! Directions could be better, but once you figure them out it all is good. Took about 1/2 hour to assemble and it works as it should.

I ordered two stools. What a fool I am. The first thing when unpacking is the warning for cancer ,( see picture) I do not remember seeing this on the Amazon ad? What happened to the Amazon protection standards? That was as good as it got. This product is absolutely terrible . The holes with embedded nuts do not align for the legs and the bolts holes. The bolts are such poor soft metal materials that they strip with any pressure. I had to purchase over size bolts just to " jack leg" it together. Both had slightly different nmus alignments. Now I am not addressing small but very large mis alignments. I do not trust these with even my 40 lb child set aside an adult. Not sure how to return but I need to purchase real bar stools but poor quality control and designed junk. First time that I have ever had a problem like this with assembly furniture. The color is more red- not brown so it does not look as good in my kitchen as I had hoped. I purchased because it said the weight capacity is 400 lbs- but while assembling noticed on the bottom of the seat is says max weight 275. The round seat seems small

Good bar stool for use in kitchen. Easy assembly. Well made so all three chairs had no assembly or parts misalignment issues. I don’t know if it is real wood , looks like it. If it is real wood then it is a very good deal compared to ones in furniture stores
