Probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to an e-bike carrier rated for 2 bike. I was able to assemble it in less than 10 minutes. Build quality is surprisingly good for a carrier in this price range. We have 2 Aventon Level 2 e-bikes weighing about 62lbs each with the batteries. They were easy to load and the clamping system held both bikes rock-steady. The bolt that replaces the receiver pin kept the everything super tight. BTW, both bikes are step through frames so having separate wheel clamps meant that we didn't have to buy frame adapters to make the bike rack work. This rack folds down for easy loading and folds up out of the way for transport when empty. No squeaks loose parts or rattles so far on our prehistoric Vermont roads. Awesome vendor honored a price drop that happened while the rack was in transit. Definitely a 5 star rating!!! ... show more

    • Well designed and constructed bike rack
I value product with good design and this bike rack is the best I have ever had and researched. A lot of good things can be said about the design as attention to details were addressed, in short I am very much satisfied with it. Construction wise, the metal and plastic looks and feels high quality; I meant the coating and the finish are great. And as any product, this one can still benefit from improvements. The recommended position of the inner bike-stand bar is too close to the lever. I have to move that bar closer to the outer one to allow full operational of the lever. I also found that the swinging tire-clamp arm need a locking mechanism; to avoid the arm from swinging and hitting the car body when on road folded, as I like to leave the bike rack attached to the car without bike; especially during summer. I also have to buy a hitch tightener as the rack kinda wobbly even when coming down from my driveway to the road. It was certainly rocking when driving on an uneven neighborhood paved road (no, I don’t live in a dirt-road rural; I live in a modern city that considered one of the best city in the country). The tightener eliminate the wobbling, but I still think this rack is not meant for off-road. I think this bike rack deserve a spot on the top ten bestseller. I would highly recommend this to anyone who value good quality product. ... show more

    • Long distance trips
I was concerned on a 1300 mile trip. Worked great, built well. To be safe I used a couple extra ratchet straps. One to the rear bumper really made it solid. Love the tilting option. Yes, a locking pin is needed.

    • Works for two e-bikes!
E-bikes tend to be quite heavy so that filter out a lot of options for me since I have two to carry. I’m glad this works out well. It’s quite easy to install by following the instructions but definitely need two people together and pay attention to the illustrations. It’s very easy to fold up and many way to secure the rack properly. It’s a good rack if you have two heavy bikes to carry. ... show more

Almost lost my $10k Ebike off the back! Ratchet mechanism came undone during first use on the freeway, and then wouldn't stay locked. overall not bad for sturdy etc.... but if you're wanting your bike to stay on the rack, DON'T BUY THIS ONE! Also, this seller (Heria) was a disaster to work with, stay away! I ended up going with a Saris rack and love it! ... show more

Used to work in a bike shop and installed hundreds of premium racks (Yakima and Thule). This is a great alternative- no frills but super sturdy and looks plenty nice. Assembly was easy and took about 20 minutes… two people or some wood blocks would help since it’s heavy duty and also heavy weight, but it was still quite simple. ... show more

OMG, this bike rack is exactly what I needed. Super strong for one high end e MTB and one high end MTB. Easy to put together and looks like it will hold up well.
