This 21.5 inch model is probably designed to manipulate people into buying the 24 inch model because when you login the cursor is too tiny and size at login cannot be changed. Default text font size is too tiny and a grump to read and that cannot be changed. Apple's dictionary is an embarrassment. OS Monterey shows the dumbing down syndrome in the new Maps app which is visually useless for educated people. Spellcheck is also an embarrassment of ignorance. Safari is programmed to be asinine by erroneously changing my text to nonsensical words. When I compose text and need to make a correction the app places a highlight at the error rather than a bar so I have to click several times to get the bar, otherwise the app will delete all typed text to the right of the marked spot. The media could not be loaded. I just got this iMac delivered to my house yesterday and I like it so far! Was hesitant on buying it at first because I saw the reviews of people saying the computer was slow but it hasn’t been for me so that’s good! Hopefully in the future it will still run just as good and by then I’ll be ready for an upgrade. I do recommend buying it if you’re looking for a computer because the new ones are kind of expensive and then just save up and upgrade in like a year or two!     • Incredible Value For Cost - Like Having a Brand New Computer

Great choice of purchase. Computer came very well packaged. Like new - I don't think this computer has ever been actually used, other than to turn it on to make sure it works, I suppose. This model of computer is just within the model timeframe to be able to download iOS12 Monterey (which is REALLY nice). The computer has incredibly vivid and sharp colors; 4K+ graphics and a number of different visual software options. The Dolby Atmos and general spatial sound sounds phenomenal, particularly with my Apple AirPod Pros. Some apps even support head tracking. The speed and power of the computer is unbeatable for this price range. Indeed there is 1TB of memory, Quad-core Intel i5 processing at 3.1 GHz. There was a very minor cosmetic scratch, but I will never see it, nor will anyone else. It makes no difference, ultimately. My only main complaint is that it is advertised that an Apple mouse and Apple keyboard are in included. I received a super cheap keyboard and mouse, that are intended for a Windows computer, and are super super cheap at that. I am messaging Woot to see if this can be replaced, as I really expected more from them, as a reputable company. If they respond and satisfy this customer, I'll gladly indicate so! Ultimately, it is almost unbelievable that this deal is even available - It really is a steal for the value. Also, Woot is a trusted and consistent vendor. I was very comfortable placing the purchase with them. If you have the option, I highly recommend this computer, and specifically to use Woot as the vendor (in my personal opinion). It wasn’t made clear at all that this would be horridly slow at loading everything. Had I not bought it with Affirm I would have asked for a refund so that I could buy one with an ssd. So take this review as a warning: If you want to spend an hour checking your email, this is the iMac for you. Should be much cheaper due to how long it takes this Mac to load literally any app you might want to use. Also, as an aside, they put a sticker right on the front and there’s been sticker glue stuck on the metal and glass all year ... show more

A great desktop at an even more amazing price. However, description said it came with Mojave OS which I needed to run some older 32bit apps. However it came with Big Sur loaded (64bit) and had to buy the Mojave boot disk.

I wasn't sure what I was getting buying a refurbished Mac. So far it's been fine. Takes a little while longer to boot up than I expected, but I can overlook that considering I got a "new to me" Mac for $500. Wish it had Microsoft Office for Mac...have to use my MacBook Pro for that. No big deal. They sent a standard wired keyboard and mouse with it which was nice of them to do, but I went ahead and order the wireless Apple keyboard and already had the Apple wireless mouse. The 21" screen is really big, glad I didn't go for the larger screen, it wasn't needed. Only reason I rated Tech Support so low as you don't get Tech Support with a used Mac, obviously. I have, however, found Apple Tech Support to be very helpful when I have called them for other computers I've had. The webcam works well for meetings on Zoom and the sound isn't half bad when listening to music or podcasts. Overall this was a great purchase and I'm happy with it. ... show more
