The Lasko U35115 pushes a strong column of air (up to 509 CFM!) that you can feel across a large room, basement, or garage. Even on the lowest of the 3 speeds, it creates a refreshing breeze. It truly bridges the gap between a bulky box fan and a sleek tower unit. This fan is a champion for beating the heat during a workout. Because it moves so much air, it is naturally louder than a whisper-quiet bedroom fan. Low Speed: Provides a good, consistent white noise that is fine for sleeping or a quiet office/bedroom setting. High Speed: It is definitely loud—comparable to a high-velocity box fan—but the sound is a clean "whoosh," not a distracting rattle. You'll likely need to turn up the TV volume, but the cooling power is worth it. I received my Lasko High Velocity Tower fan today..After just 10 minutes I was amazed. It was already together right out of the box nothing to do put unwrap it and plug it in. Very Chic, looking. Well made. At first I had it on number 3 and its "very quiet" even on the highest setting and when they advertise any fan they always say it's quiet but they mean on the lowest setting, well not withthis fan it stays quiet. I had to turn it down to number 1 it's powerful. Not like any Tower fan I've ever had..I've had top name brands. It's, been blowing out cold air all day. I just ordered another one for upstairs for the cats play room because it seems to get alot warmer up stairs. Best Tower fan I've ever purchased. Usually I purchase Vornado fans have for year's. So glad I tried a Lasko Highly recommend this fan, make sure you get the right fan..Lasko High Velocity Osc..fan definitely would give 10 ☆ if I could. ... show more

Excellent fan. Air volume is super very good. The fan has lots of power for pulling air. Easy to install. You only need 2 AAA batteries for remote. Noise level is not bad at all. No different from any other fan. I’ve already read it this oscillating fan. It’s good for outdoor or indoor. I was only allowed to upload one video and I hate that because I wanted to show in another video how much air this fan actually puts out. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I did a surprising amount of research before selecting this tower fan, and so far I have not been disappointed. This fan DOES have a high velocity, and it moves a nice amount of air in the room, keeping up a lively breeze. I prefer this tower style, which has a good height, to fans that sit on the floor and have to be angled upward to circulate the hotter air. When set to rotate, the fan sweeps in a wide arc, refreshing the air in the room. This is not a gratingly loud fan, but it IS high velocity, so there is audible “fan noise” if it is on during a Zoom or phone call. Quieter on settings 1 & 2 though. I have not owned the fan long enough to need to disassemble it to clean the blades or filter, but that does not appear to be a user-friendly process, although I will do it anyway when the time comes. This tower fan has a solid, stable base that seems quite unlikely to tip over, as some “tripod” or box fans may. It comes with a remote, which is nice, but I am usually in proximity to the fan when it is on. I like that it can be programmed to run at one, two and four hour intervals. It does not occupy much floor space and has a top handle that makes transport ….well, a breeze. This is a decent item, and I am quite satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

It is such a good fan , my room it gets super hot especially in the summer and I decided to put good money on a good fan and it was worth it, it leaves me freezing I love it. You need to buy AAA3 batteries tho for the control. but you change it on the fan as well

I live in southern Florida and had a Lasko floor fan that ran faithfully for many years, so I tried the same brand of wind tower, model 4930. Same experience, long lasting and I loved remote control, now a must! I purchased a second model 4930, but it has had a loud vibration or clatter about 50% of the time. I probably should see if it can be repaired, just a loose part, apparently — but I NEED AIR FLOW! Yes, I have a ceiling fan going, too, and central air. Southern Florida! 😊 I was a little confused by the repeated, persistent description of utility use: Garage, basement, or gym. I ordered it anyway because Amazon is great about returns on those rare occasions. It is fantastic with a little larger air flow area. It's better performance, I think, and very quiet. I think it looks sleek (though nearly identical size) and its design is a lot less cluttered and a lot more attractive. (Again, what's with that description?) I did take away a star because the remote control is junk. The buttons are as small as teensy pills and aligned in columnar fashion, so it's easy for a fingertip to mash two buttons — more irritating, the fan was VERY POORLY RESPONSIVE, took multiple efforts. In my case, since I already own two Lasko wind towers, with great relief I found that their remote controls are totally compatible! C'mon, Lasko, you've got to offer a comparable quality remote control for these two models, since they're comparably priced! What is the point of buying this tower, if the control performs woefully poorly? As far as purchasing this wind tower, perhaps you'll be satisfied with the control or the Lasko's customer service will agree to send the better remote control. Talk to Lasko customer service before placing your order? I'm documenting my dissatisfaction in this review. I'd hate to have you pass on this great tower, however. ... show more

Best Fan We’ve Ever Owned – Reliable, Stylish, and So Easy to Use! We’ve had our original fan for over 5 years and it’s still running perfectly without a single issue, very durable. It’s hands down the best fan we’ve ever owned. We were so impressed with the quality and performance that we’ve recommended it to multiple family members — many of whom now own one (or more!) and love them just as much as we do. One of the best parts is how easy it is right out of the box — it comes fully assembled. All you have to do is unwrap it and plug it in. The settings are simple and intuitive, operated with just the click of a button. You can set a timer in multiple ways or just leave the timer off and use the easy power button to turn it on and off. Recently, we purchased a second fan for our daughter’s room. She enjoys the gentle hum it makes for white noise at night, and it does a great job keeping her room cool and comfortable. While the fan might appear a little on the larger side at first glance, it has a sleek and clean finish that blends in beautifully with most spaces. It’s also incredibly versatile and easy to move around the house — lightweight with a convenient handle that makes transporting it effortless. Another great feature is the remote control. I love this fan and it helps tremendously for those with hot flashes. 3 different fan settings, timer, and oscillating. There is a spot on the back of the fan that holds the remote as well. I have this in my room where I sleep with it on. It's a little noisy but soothing for those who like white noise. Love it for cooling though and it's a great fan. It's a bit tall but perfect in size, handle to move it and is lightweight. Fan direction for the airflow can be adjusted as well. It also works great with my smart plug but I do have to turn the fan on by hand or by remote after turning the plug on. Excellent value for the price and I highly recommend. ... show more
