These heaters are excellent. I own 2 and I’m buying a 3rd. I bought them on Amazon over a year ago and use them daily in the winter (Nov-March). We live in Vermont and primarily heat with wood and wood pellets. There are a few areas that the wood heat has a hard time reaching in our house so I bought these to supplement. We use one in our bedroom and one in our toddler’s room. They heat up quickly, warm larger rooms well, and the thermostat, timer, etc work as advertised. I saw a review that complained about the unit reaching 77 when set to 73. The manual clearly states that the thermostat allows the temp to rise 4 degrees above the set temp before shutting off. It then kicks back on when it reads 1 degree below set temp. This gives the unit time to cool down while the room temp gradually (or not so gradually in an old house like ours) drops back to the set temp. Otherwise this thing would just keep running and be turning on and off way more frequently if there’s only a 2 degree temp range. This isn’t your home furnace…it’s a small space heater with a reasonably accurate and reliable thermostat. Also keep in mind it sits down low so the temp it reads may differs slightly from the temp read by a thermometer higher up in the room. I have accurate analog thermometers in every room to monitor heat distribution and can say these units are consistent and register the same temp drops and elevations that my room thermometers do. They’re usually reading a few degrees cooler than my thermometers which I expect since they’re low and on a cold floor. As far as safety goes, we’ve had zero issues with overheating or any issues I’ve seen in other reviews. With a mix of newer and older wiring we’ve had no issues whatsoever. We have these running all night nearly every night from November to March and during extra cold days we move them around if we’re home and cold. When running they are warm but not dangerously hot to the touch. Even the front grill can be touched without burning when operating on high output after a running a while. My toddler does not mess with it but has accidentally knocked it over and picked it back up safely by himself while it’s running. Likewise my dog likes to lay near it and has run into it without injuring himself. These heaters have not led to a major energy cost increase. In summary, I highly recommend these. Like I said, was back on this page over a year later to buy another one because they’re that good. I’ve used a number of alternatives and none has matched the heat output, energy cost, or safety these have provided so until I have an issue I’ll stick with them. I bought 2, came quick, fair price, works great, satisfied and would recommend. Has a real nice remote control. Osicillates to distribute the heat. I use it for the bathroom but would work for a bedroom chill chaser.

Great little heater for our RV for additional heat on cold winter nights in Florida, which isn't too often. Rather than running our heat all night, this unit takes out the chill in our 38 ft motorhome. It comes with a 3 year warranty which we unfortunately had to take advantage of when it suddenly quit working after 13 months and only having used it about a dozen times. HOWEVER, I must say that Lasko stands by their warranty and are shipping us out a new one! They didn't have the same model but offered us an upgrade at no additional charge! Definitely would recommend Lasko Products. I have a Lasko box fan that is more than 10 years old and still working perfectly! Even though the heater had an issue I give them 5 stars for their excellent and prompt customer service!! ... show more

So I needed a space heater for my place as I do not not central air. I read reviews and bought a Dreo (model # HSH003) and this Lasko (model # 755320). Here is my comparison. Both work well. The Dreo is about half the size of the Lasko. However, the Dreo has a blower area of about 8 inches vs a blower area of about 7 inches for the Lasko. What I mean by blower area is the area where the heat is blown out. Although the Dreo is smaller in size it has a larger area where the heat is blown out. The Lasko blows out more heat than the Dreo and can be felt from a farther distance. Both oscillate and came with a remote control. In conclusion, I would purchase the Lasko one because, to me, it produces more heat. I am however disappointed in the Lasko because I bought it thinking it would have a larger blower area due to it being 23 inches tall. I feel tricked. It's like when you buy a bag of chips. You get this large bag but it's only half full. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Due to blowing out more heat I'll use the Lasko in the living room and the Orea in my bedroom since my bedroom is smaller. Don't get me wrong, both are good. Just like that the Lasko appears to blow out more air than the Dreo. ... show more

This product is ideal for supplemental heat. I love that it has a thermostate and comes on when the temp is 1 degree below the setting. Once it comes on, it runs until the temp reaches 2 degrees above the setting. The remote is super convenient too. We use it nightly. It is very quiet.

I purchased this for the first time in 2023-24. I used it mainly in my living room to keep the chill off. I have an open living room/kitchen setup, so I wasn't looking for a miracle. It did a wonderful job of warming the main area up. Took it to my bedroom one night and with the door closed, it really showed it's power. Came back this year for another one so I wouldn't have to keep moving it. I love them. Especially when the room can be closed off. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality, quiet, powerful space heater. And the remote definitely comes in handy because I can turn it off from the coziness of my bed. ... show more

Looks nice, heats up my home office quickly - can't complain. One good thing to note with this specific product is that you CAN adjust the temperature in 1-degree increments. Should be a standard thing, however there was another Lasko product I was initially looking at that apparently only adjusted in 5-degree increments, which is not ideal. But yeah anyway - I had an old Delonghi heater that I had for a few years that started having weird electrical problems all of a sudden -- like turned on on its own, followed by the electronics buzzing and flashing all kinds of symbols.
