I own 3 of these and they are good little heaters. For the money I even re-ordered another after the one failed after 4years. * The entire length of power cord gets VERY hot IF the heaters are set to run on high for over say 5min.

On 5/21/23 - I went to plug in the heater and saw that the plug had began to melt!!! Thank God it didn’t catch fire! I don’t know why this happened, and it could be a fluke, but it is definitely worth mentioning! My gas bill was over $400!!! I started using this heater and within a month my bill was lower, within 2 months my gas bill was under control without a large increase in my electric bill! I needed a solution for our master bathroom during the winter. This heater worked! it's low profile allows it to direct heat across the floor without losing it to height. The oscillating function worked well when I used it. But the controls seemed a bit conflicted. If I wanted to set the temp in different modes I was limited in my choices. Works great, no outgassing/chemical smell, still going strong after lots of use over a couple winters. Nice looking, well made. I just ordered a different brand space heater that was cheap just to help us through a freeze while our heat is out and I can't even run it because of the smell coming off of the other unit and it looks as cheap as It smells. I wish now I'd ordered a 3rd one of these. I love these little heaters! They work great. Our heat is out, it's 19 degrees outside, and I have only one of these going in the kitchen/living room/foyer area and the house has kept around high 50's to 60 degrees. That is amazing. Our window are single pane and leak lots of cool air pouring in and for it to keep it at a safe temperature inside with only one unit is great! Wish I had chosen to order another one of these the area is large and 10 ft ceilings and would have been perfect to bring the temperature up to a more comfortable level. (our other one of these is in a bedroom). Again, we have no central heat currently and leaky windows so this unit performs great and has been a real saver! ... show more
