I've only used this once so, I can't attest to it's longevity but, I can say it works extremely well for my needs. I have a very small bathroom and this makes it so nice and toasty before I get in the shower and when I get o ut. I no longer hate talking showers on chilly mornings. I don't leave the shower running if I'm not rinsing something off and this keeps me warm during the times when the warm water is off. As a matter of fact, I don't even use that warm of water anymore because the bathroom stays nice and warm. My mirror was completely fog free too. The warm setting is plenty warm for me. Total game changer. I just hope it lasts. Oh, I forgot to mention that I don't have that vibration/walking problem that so many complained about. Sits perfectly still on my bathroom counter. One complaint though. I tried to register this product online and it won't let you do it unless you send a copy of the receipt digitally. Not everyone has a scanner for their computer (I don't know anyone who does) and not everyone has a smartphone to do this. It has a 3 year warranty so I hope it lasts for at least that long. A lot of companies have (or used to anyway) a paper warranty card that you can send in but, not Lasko. I'm sick of everyone assuming everyone has all the latest technology. ... show more

    • Lots of BTUs for the dollar
Our bathroom is at the end of the house. (West Carolina mountains). When the house is 68'; the bathroom is 64'. This heater, while making a slight fan noise, gets a 10x11 room up to 70' in 20 minutes. Controls are very straight forward. We have adequate outlets so the unit is not near water but the built in GFI plug is nice. I put down a new vinyl floor. Had concerns that placing a heater might warp or alter the vinyl. The floor directly in front stays cool cause the fan disperses the heat. I think it could be ok even on carpet. It's very portable. We don't have a lot of sq ft in the house but storing it in the summer will be no problem. ... show more

Purchased two for each of our bathrooms. Very simple review because the product works great. Lots of heat output even on low. Love the safety feature of the ground fault plug. Also love it’s small footprint. A win all around.

I've owned many of this model lasco heater. It is terrific in terms of how much heat it puts out and I especially liked it because it was quiet. However this particular order as well as the one before it from Amazon makes noise. I called customer service at lasco and they are replacing it for free which I thought was great customer service. Hopefully the one I received is not make so much noise. But if you get a good one it is a terrific heater for the price. ... show more

Very easy to use. For anyone having problems seeing as I do it is great for elderly people. One large button on top. Just mash it for on and 3 other settings. The last setting turns it off. No temperature setting. You can set it to run for 1 hour. Next setting runs on high until you turn it off. Next setting runs on low until you turn it off. The last setting when you mash the top is off. I have only used it for the hour setting to warm up bathroom before showering. It does what I bought it for. Great little heater.     • Almost perfect for my use
I reported to my landlady that the only outlet in my bathroom stopped working years ago. When just replacing the outlets themselves didn't fix the problem, the landlady stopped even trying. To get power into the bathroom, I have an extension cord coming into the bathroom from the hallway. That of course means there is no electrocution protection like I would be getting if the bathroom's outlet worked. The nice thing about this space heater is that it's made for the bathroom, and has the electrocution protection buttons on the power plug itself. It heats up the bathroom very quick even on the low setting. The only negative things I can say about this is: 1. Every time you hit the power button (each time for a different power setting, first strong, then medium, and low) a beep emanates from it confirming it read your press of the button. The problem is it is very loud, and you cannot adjust the sound level. May wake up family members. 2. My last space heater had a way to turn it on without the heat, just as a fan. I used that during the summer to air out the steam after a shower. That would have been a nice addition to this model. ... show more

I didn't expect much from this cute little box but boy was I wrong. The bathroom turns into an absolute sauna if I leave it on high. I now turn it on high for about 5 minutes and then switch to low before I get in the shower and turn it off immediately when I get out. And I'm talking about December in Maine here. My bathroom goes from 60 to 90 in no time with this little heater. I'm so impressed. ... show more
