It's a very stout and strong product. It came with a variety of wires to connect it to your machine. It's a little daunting for beginners however, as I have NEMA 34 stepper motors on my machine and had to look at different wiring diagrams to figure out which wire goes where. But i was able to do so with a bit of google searching paired with the schematic that came with the rotary. I just would NOT call it beginner level. It was a breeze for me and I got it hooked up and running in no time. Biggest downfall is there isn't much in the instructions on the amount of steps or the mm of steps distance the thing requires, so after hooking it up to light burn and switching on rotary access, it was a trial an error to get the setting right. Still only took me like 10 mins though, but I'm an engineer. ... show more

This is a great addition to an already existing rotary roller. The only thing I would change is to have the foot be just a tad bit bigger so that it feels more stable, but it did work regardless. That might just be a personal preference on my part. The tool itself lends stability where needed for projects that extend out past your rotary. I do know that if you do not have this when trying to do things that might be thin at the bottom such as a wine glass but the primary weight is really at the end, you will not get as clean of an etch as you would if the entire glass were held stable.     • Didn't work and no customer service!

This roller didn’t work at all with my engraver. Tried to contact customer service and all I got was after a couple days and I’m asking what my order number was. They never responded again after that once I answered them. Returned this product.

    • Nice adjustable stand
this is great if you need to balance something on your rotary or hold it at a slight angle. I wish the foot was a little larger which would give it a little stability. Ball bearing rollers and a height adjustable stand. It does what it needs to do.
