I ordered the Aicevoos Laser Measure Tool for my husband, not realizing this is a very complex piece of equipment. I thought it was just an electronic tape measure, which is it, but it is really so much more than that. The tool is very small, fitting into the palm of your hand or pocket, with an approximate measurement of 4.5 x 2 x 1 inches and a light weight of 7.06 ounces. It is comprised of a plastic housing with reinforced textured plastic on the bottom corners. It comes with 3 AAA batteries, a manual, a hand strap and a case. The laser measure tool has a 2.4 inch backlit screen to help you see the screen regardless of lighting, and has six buttons/keys on the front. A start/on button, function, continuous maximum/minimum measurement, switch measurement unit (including measure reference), record view/record switch, off/clear, and on broadcast for plus-minus. The laser is a class two green beam which is supposed to be four times brighter than a red laser, due to it's smaller wavelength and higher frequency. This unit also includes an angle measurement, which is an unusual feature and a nice bonus. The screen shows the battery level, data group number, type of measurement, (distance, length, volume), the angle, up to four measurements, and the measure reference (consider/not consider self length option). The tool takes three AAA batteries, which is my preference for these types of things, as you don't want to be in the middle of a project and have to stop and wait for the tool to recharge. Specs: -Can measure from .16 to 229 feet -Measurement unit can be changed from meters, inches or feet -2.4 inch backlit screen -Multi-measurement functions: -Angle -Area -Distance -Length -Volume -Continuous distance -Pythagorean (two and three points) -Plus/minus -Min/max -Measure reference (consider/not consider self length option) -Low battery indicator -99 Memory groups -Auto shutdown -Mute option to turn off sounds -Class II green beam laser -Aspherical optical lens, with low distortion and interference Overall, the Aicevoos Laser Measure Tool is a very nice tool, including measuring options I would expect to see in a professional level tool and not in a tool at this price point. There is a bit of a learning curve with this item, but that is to be expected with a tool of this level. That said, it does come with an actual manual, rather than having to look up the information on the Internet. The item works well and I like fact it came with a hand strap and case. It's compact size and weight make it easy to use and carry and I love the fact it takes batteries. If the manufacturer wanted to make this item a home run, they could add a rubberized protection strip around the the entire unit to protect it just in case you dropped it. But at this price point, who can really whine? Five stars.

This laser measure is awesome! It is lightweight and easy to use. I would be even more impressed if it was rechargeable, but that's alright. At least it comes with the 3 AAA batteries that are required. I measured 10 feet with both a tape measure and this laser measure, and it was an inch short. I checked the tape measure, and the notches were all messed up so it turned out that the tape measure was actually made poorly lol. I trust this laser measure enough to buy the material for the fencing I plan to install, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I think the price is fair and about average for what you will find on Amazon. Some are even much more expensive. For my unprofessional purposes, this is perfect. Hope this helps!

For more than 10 years, I have been using an expensive Bosch unit for work. This one is better. Much better. Angle Measurement. This feature alone makes this product better than most of the laser measures on the market. The top of the LED screen constantly reports the angle the product is being held. This is so useful. When you're measuring from one side of the room to another, the slightest change in angle changes the width measurement. Now, you can make sure the unit is being held flat (0°) so the measurement is accurate. To be honest, I can't believe I didn't get one with this feature earlier. DO NOT GET A LASER MEASURE WITHOUT THIS FEATURE. This also has all the other bells and whistles that all the top laser measures have. The unit is designed so it can be laid down flat on its back and side. It can calculate squares, boxes, and even triangles at various angles! This also has a green dot rather than a red dot, which supposedly is much better but I honestly don't think it's a big deal. I never had a big problem finding the red dot from across the room. 2 MINOR CRITICISMS I have 2 minor criticisms which, after thinking about it, I really can't knock off any stars for, especially given the other mediocre products on the market. First, I wish the corners were made of rubber. If I happened to drop this, the plastic body won't break. Second and more importantly, I wish the unit was prettier. It has a cheap quality to it. My old Bosch one isn't as good as this, but it LOOKS more expensive. This thing isn't ugly, but I wish it looked "cooler". In conclusion, this laser measure is a steal! Get it!

This laser measure is small, compact and very solidly made. It is easy to read with a large screen and it’s pretty accurate. I’ve only played around with it for a little bit, but I like all the options that it comes with. The manual is clear and concise to follow. It’s just gonna be sitting down and playing with it for a while. It comes with three AAA batteries so you don’t have to run out and get some. I like that you can switch in between metric and imperial measurements and that it has a memory so I don’t have to carry around pencil and paper. It also will turn itself off if I forget to turn it off that’s a good feature. I like that it is a green laser beam is easier for me to see And the level is also green laser beam. It has a hard plastic outer case with rubber on the corners so there is no way that it can fall hit the corner and chip or shatter. So far I am very happy with it will gladly add it to my tool collection. It’s going to be very handy for the remodel of my house.
