These are great, a standard go-to for brining the Thanksgiving Turkey. Lots of folks claims you should just use a trash bag or industrial plastic bag, but those aren't food-safe and may leach into the turkey. This is food safe.

I should have read more closely that it didn’t contain any mixture. It wasn’t until I opened the package and found out, that my bad. It’s going to go into my pantry as a just in case for the near future perhaps. I have a brining bucket I use so I don’t really need the bags, but I must say, they felt pretty thick, but then again, they’d have to be to hold a big turkey. I love this brine bag makes it so much easier. Has the zip sealer to ensure a tight fit when closing. Size is perfect for any turkey! I will use these every year! I thing I suggest when shipping don’t cover the instructions….the instructions were completely blocked with a mailing label when it could have been placed on the other side …just a suggestion 👍 ... show more

I have used a few brands in the past, I usually just get whatever is on sale at the time of need. These ones are high quality and I would be willing to pay a few extra bucks for these over some of the others I have used in the past.
